Chapter 110 - FLIGHT & FEELINGS

Sonali (grinning, nudging Ishana): "So, how was the goodbye?

Ishana (rolling her eyes, but smiling): " He had this whole dramatic goodbye ."

Tia (mocking a dramatic voice): "'I'll call you when I land, wifey! I'll miss you, wifey!'

Luca (chuckling from the seat behind): "Yeah, sounds like Abhi.?"

Ishana (laughs): "Of course! He whispered in my ear, 'That's how you should say goodbye, and that's how you should call each other.' Like he has a clue about anything."

(Rashmi, who was quietly listening, pipes up with a smirk.)

Rashmi: "It's just cute, Ishana. You two are pretty close. Nothing wrong with that."

Maya (teasing): "Aw, is someone getting soft about family?"

Alice (from the row behind, joking): "I think Abhi's got the 'husband material' vibe.

(Ishana shrugs, but there's a slight change in her tone. She laughs lightly, but a thought lingers in her head.)

Ishana (sighing, settling back in her seat): "I don't know. It's just weird. He's always like that—. But today, it felt... different. Like, I don't know... he's really starting to miss me."

(Tia raises an eyebrow, glancing at the others. Sonali leans in, curious.)

Sonali: "Maybe he's worried about you being away for a couple of days."

Pooja (from the opposite aisle, grinning): "Or maybe... he's just being a good husband."

(Ishana laughs softly. She's trying to hide the slight vulnerability she feels. She glances out the window, watching as the plane begins to taxi down the runway.)

Luca (leaning forward, teasing): "Or maybe Abhi's just making sure you don't get distracted by cute guys on the flight."

(Everyone laughs, and Ishana can't help but chuckle too. It's hard to stay serious when her friends are all so playful. But a tiny part of her feels that soft, She lets it pass.)

Ishana (shaking her head): "You guys are impossible."

(The flight attendant announces the takeoff, and the plane lifts into the air. Everyone settles into their seats as the initial excitement subsides, but the atmosphere in the group stays lively. The friends start talking about the trip ahead, but Ishana is quieter now, her thoughts momentarily drifting back to Abhi's words.)

Alice (noticing Ishana's change in demeanor): "Hey, are you okay?"

Ishana (smiling, but slightly distracted): "Yeah, just... thinking. It's nothing."

(The others exchange a look but let it slide, knowing Ishana's usually quick to brush off anything serious. They return to their chatter as the flight moves smoothly through the sky. Ishana pulls out her phone, thinking for a moment, then typing a quick message to Abhi before putting it back down. She doesn't expect a reply right away. She just wanted to let him know she's on her way.)

Ishana's text to Abhi:

"I made it to the flight. Safe. See you soon, Don't worry so much."

(She looks out the window again, lost in thought as the plane ascends higher, her mind still replaying her brother's goodbye. But then her friends start talking about their plans for the weekend, pulling her back to the present moment.)

The hustle and bustle of the airport is alive with travelers rushing, announcements echoing through the terminal, and a flurry of activity everywhere. The gang is gathered by the gate, all wearing excited smiles, with their bags and boarding passes in hand. It's an early morning flight, but the excitement for the bachelor party has already turned up the energy.

Abhi (grinning widely, adjusting his sunglasses):

"Alright, boys and girls, let's do this! Shimla, here we come!"

Nick (playfully nudging Abhi):

"Dude, I still can't believe you're getting married! This is the last time you're gonna be free, so let's make it count!"

Krish (laughing):

"True! After this, it's all about compromise, decisions, and... sigh honeymoon planning!"

Daniel (grinning, already holding a can of soda):

"I'm just here for the adventure. The bachelor party is only the start. We'll need another one for the wedding recovery!"

Jack (in his typical laid-back style, with a camera around his neck):

"Gotta get some good shots of Shimla, you know, for the 'instagram. Abhi, I need some epic bachelor party pics for posterity."

Olivia (rolling her eyes, holding her passport with a travel pillow wrapped around her neck):

"Don't get too carried away with the camera, Jack. I'm just trying to get some sleep before we get there."

Rocky (grinning, his hair wild from the journey):

"Sleep? On a bachelor trip? You're gonna miss all the fun, Olivia!"

Tom (giving a thumbs-up to the group):

"I've already got a plan for Shimla. Think we can squeeze in a few treks after the party? Some mountain vibes."

Kevin (chuckling):

"Yeah, sure, after we finish taking over the bars and restaurants. We're not exactly the 'outdoor' type, Tom."

Justin (holding up a bottle of water):

"Well, I'm not here to hike either, but you guys know the mountains do wonders for the... ahem... the hangovers."

Sophia (adjusting her jacket):

"I just want some peace and quiet for once. Can we leave the party madness behind when we get there?"

Alex (laughing, tugging on his backpack):

"Peace and quiet in Shimla? Good luck with that!"

Elsa (playfully pushing Alex aside):

"We're gonna party, but I'm still keeping an eye on everyone. Someone's gotta make sure no one does something stupid."

The boarding announcement blares over the loudspeaker, and the gang's energy peaks as they start making their way toward the boarding gate.

Abhi (winking at his friends, walking ahead):

"Let's just hope this plane can handle all our excitement! Bachelor party to Shimla, baby!"

As they walk down the jet bridge:

The atmosphere shifts to a mix of anticipation and playful chatter. The group finds their seats on the plane, some settling into the aisle and window seats, others joking about who's taking the middle seat.

Nick (sitting by the window, with a half-open smile):

"I call dibs on the window. I wanna see the mountains as we get closer!"

Krish (sitting beside Nick, grinning):

"Sure, you can see the mountains. I'll just enjoy my nap before we land and the chaos begins."

The flight attendant makes a quick safety announcement as the gang buckles in. The seatbelt sign flashes on, but no one is really paying attention to it. There's too much excitement in the air.

Daniel (mock-serious tone):

"Alright, who's got the party snacks for the flight? Someone has to bring out the chips, or it's a wasted trip."

Jack (raising a bag of chips):

"I got you covered, Daniel! I come prepared."

As the plane takes off, the group's energy doesn't fade. Laughter and jokes fill the air. Abhi leans back, taking in the moment.

Abhi (to himself, smiling):

"Last flight before the big day… let's make it count."

The camera pans out as the plane ascends into the clear skies, leaving behind the bustling airport and heading for the peaceful mountains of Shimla.
