Perhaps only Ash and some others who were a part of Cerberus could look at the articles and see why those businesses were being run that way, and that was only because she knew about what was happening behind the scenes.
Even if there were people in Cerberus who could come up with the same conclusion from what they were exposed to, Ash still had more knowledge about everything than they so it was easier to reach such a conclusion.
In many ways, it was quite impressive how well everything was run so smoothly to allow such a business and others to act as a cover for various operations that Cerberus was connected to.
Everything just looked so normal that it would be difficult to connect such a place to a criminal organisation and their dealings.
