Chapter 687 - Derrick 1

Derrick could only complain as he stepped over the wet, muddy ground that was in his way toward reaching his destination.

His steps only became much slower as he moved through it, and his shoes sank deeper into them.

Derrick reached the back of the building with some difficulty, where he saw that the door had been hanging open a little, as the wind was blowing onto it, causing it to occasionally swing shut, but not completely, due to the lack of force that was needed.

His hands gripped tighter around the strap of the bag he was carrying as he became more nervous, but he steeled his resolve in that moment.

Derrick stepped toward the door and pulled it open before it was blown shut and would end up bouncing back into the previous open state.

He could not make out the insides too well, mainly due to the dark environment without a single bit of lighting inside.

It was made even worse for him as a result of it being quite late in the evening, when it was not so bright anymore.
