She did not want to draw too much attention to the present situation, especially when she had just killed a couple of the people connected to it all.
It would look more like an act of vigilantism that was taken too far, and the police would have to find the person behind it all once they came to that conclusion.
The police would be pleased to gain such a big win, but that did not mean they would overlook the person who tipped them off and hand-wrapped everything neatly for them, especially if that person had killed others to achieve it all.
They were the law, and they could not have anyone out there who believed themselves to be above the law and using that type of mentality to judge and kill others.
If they let such things go on, then it would only get worse, as such a person could be let loose to do as they liked, as they would keep putting themselves and others in danger to enforce their own views of justice.
