Having a ground-floor flat was much better for her since she did not have to worry about upsetting her neighbours by walking around in her flat and getting up to other things that could cause those below to hear each time she took a step.
It was not close to a main road, so it was better for her to avoid a lot of contact with others unless she had to head in that direction.
The traffic of cars and people would be very small, so the only thing she would have to worry about was running into the children of those who were living on the same street.
There was a corner shop and other places she could make use of if she wanted to make a quick trip to get something she wanted or needed, while any larger shopping areas were not too far away.
The bus stops were quite close by, so it would take her less than five minutes to walk there before waiting for the bus to arrive, which would allow her to get from one place to another with less difficulty.
