As he watched Torga quietly turn to ashes little by little, Fisher felt a sense of lament that overshadowed the chill of being targeted by death. He glanced at the ancient manual Torga handed him before dying and the slightly shaking transparent reagent in the test tube. For a moment, he made no extra movements, just slumped to the ground and gently stroked the words on the manual: [Life Completion Manual].
Then, he put the Life Completion Manual into his pocket and struggled to stand up; a simple action that left him utterly exhausted.
He leaned on the nearby rubble, gasping for a while. Although there was nothing behind him, he always felt an extreme terror watching him, like a glinting scythe poised at his neck, ready to take his life with a slight motion...
