In every nation, there are numerous classic stories passed down. Among the Nali people, tales circulate about the legendary king, Gedelin, as golden as gold, or which noble daughter living in a castle has eloped with whom. It could also be about how a farmer repairing the waterwheel discovered large deposits of gold in the river.
The Nali people enjoy these melodramatic stories that align more with their everyday life, akin to the winding romances praised in "Moon Night," close to their own lives yet tinged with a subtle magical hue.
However, the stories in Schwali are completely different. Perhaps it's because even their founding emperor firmly believed that slaying a giant serpent would bring good fortune, so many supernatural tales swirl around Schwali, their authenticity impossible to verify.
