This is absurd, Dean thought. I must have misheard. Although Daisy is just an inconspicuous clerk in the detective bureau, inter-departmental transfers of personnel are often troublesome. To put it bluntly, even if Daisy genuinely had issues, the people coming for her should have been from Internal Affairs, not other departments. This concerns the 'organization's' integrity. It sounds somewhat laughable, but that's the reality of it. Otherwise, the bigwigs at the detective bureau would also worry about being slandered. So, whatever the reason for Daisy's arrest, it's definitely going to be troublesome.
Dean quickly asked Harry to contact his good friends within the police to find out the identities of those who took Daisy away, and to also reach out to Old Hunter. After all, Daisy was one of Old Hunter's subordinates; the people who took her away might explain the situation to Old Hunter.
He hung up the phone.
