On the other end of the phone, Dean's voice was tinged with urgency.
"The main culprit behind the neighborhood's desolation is a man named Jed Cabon. He was a university physics professor with a good academic reputation, but in recent years, due to an academic corruption scandal, his reputation suffered, and he subsequently resigned."
