Amon felt the private cell phone in his arms vibrate and his brows furrowed slightly.
Could it be those bastards who had made him take the fall, feeling that the current situation was too embarrassing, calling to chew him out?

A cold light flashed in Amon's eyes as he discreetly took several steps back, moving out of range of the surrounding cameras before pulling out his phone to check the caller ID.
"Dean?"

Amon seemed to think of something. Instead of answering the call immediately, he gestured to an assistant nearby, "Check for me, what has Agent Dean Lee been up to recently? His intelligence code is A27834..."
The suited assistant was evidently one of Amon's confidants.
