Enoch looked at Rowan for a moment, a light of stupefaction flashing in his pale green eyes, it seemed he was surprised that he had made such an outburst, and he laughed in a somewhat self-deprecating manner. He began walking towards Rowan, but then he stopped, a light of confusion flashing in his eyes before it vanished.
"Ah, how long has it been since I spoke to any real person? But you are not real, just a shadow of yourself." Enoch chuckled, and his bearing grew serious, "This path you are taking, it will kill you, but you shall find your answer… when I deem you worthy."
Turning around, Enoch vanished, and Rowan slowly dragged himself to the wooden throne before he collapsed upon it. A thousand thoughts flashed past his mind, but he dismissed them all to focus on a single moment.
It was not the last words that Emoch had spoken; instead, it was what he did before he said those words.
