For Kosta, time had always gone by faster with Tamiko around.
However, this was a time when Kosta wasn't sure if he wanted to go ahead or backward. There was just so much that was going through his mind as he stood there, and the hallways stared at him like this was all his fault.
Perhaps because this was not what he had intended. He had only ever wanted both of them to be happy. He had only ever wanted to see either side of a life that had been cursed on them, and now she was seeing it, alright?
Ten weeks incommunicado, and Tamiko was back in the flesh.
But he was different.
Maybe it was just that Kosta had not seen him in literal weeks, or maybe it was in the way that no matter what was happening here, there was no telling what the fuck was going on.
Maybe he had been the one to trigger this, or maybe he had just been unfortunate enough to live this long. But were the years of torture long enough for Tamiko to have changed?
