Sunny’s POV
"We don't have time to argue, Aiden!" I snapped, cutting the final strand of rope around Seniora's wrists. She rubbed her reddened skin, trying to stand, but her knees buckled under her own weight. I caught her before she could fall to the floor.
"I've got her," Aiden said, stepping in front of us with his gun raised toward the corridor. "Trace! What’s your status down there?" Static hissed through his earpiece, followed by the deafening chatter of heavy automatic rifle fire.
"Capo, we're overwhelmed!" Trace's panicked voice cracked over the line. "More trucks just pulled up at the east gate! They’re not just perimeter guards anymore—the Impalers called in their main strike unit! We can't hold the foyer!"
Aiden’s jaw clenched. "Hold your ground! We're coming down!"
