Chapter 10 - Dream

Wu Xuan threw his controller down in defeat, his face contorting into a pout.

"Ah! You beat me again!" he exclaimed.

Li Wei couldn't help but smirk, feeling a sense of satisfaction that he had finally beaten Wu Xuan at something. As it turned out, this guy was terrible at gaming.

Confidently, Wu Xuan had invited Li Wei to play the famous fighting game, boasting about his skills. But each time, he had lost to Li Wei's superior gameplay.

Li Wei was now basking in the thrill of victory.

"Looks like I'm the gaming champion now," he teased.

Wu Xuan chuckled, conceding defeat.

"I guess I'm just not cut out for gaming," he admitted, shrugging.

Li Wei laughed internally, reveling in his triumph.

'Consider this a payback for all the times you made me suffer!'

He thought to himself, looking at Wu Xuan's crestfallen expression.

But his thoughts were soon interrupted by the sound of a mature, charming voice.

"Wu Xuan? Are you playing video games?" the woman asked.

Li Wei turned around and was immediately taken aback by what he saw.

The woman standing in the doorway was in her mid-twenties, wearing a tight-fitting turtle neck sweater and jeans that clung to her every curve.

Her thighs looked so plump and inviting in those jeans, and her breasts were at least a G-cup, threatening to burst out of her top at any moment.

Li Wei could even see the outline of her nipples, which seemed to suggest that she wasn't wearing a bra.

Li Wei felt his face turn red as the woman's eyes fell on him.

"Who is this? Your friend?" she asked, her voice husky and alluring.

Wu Xuan quickly introduced him, "Yes, this is my friend Li Wei."

"Yes, I'm Li Wei, nice to meet you," he said, trying to sound confident despite his embarrassment.

The woman smiled warmly, and Li Wei couldn't help but feel a flutter in his chest at the sight of her smile.

"It's nice to meet you too, Li Wei. I'm Mei, Wu Xuan's sister," she said, introducing herself.

Li Wei nodded, still feeling a bit stunned by her beauty.

Li Wei glanced at the time on his phone and realized it was getting late.

"Oh, it's getting pretty late, I should probably head back home," he said, trying to hide his disappointment.

Mei looked at him with concern.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay for dinner?" she asked, her concern evident in her voice.

"It's already so late, and you have to travel all the way back home. I'll ask our driver to drop you at your doorstep after dinner."

Li Wei hesitated, feeling conflicted.

But just then, Wu Xuan spoke up, a smile on his face.

"Yeah, Li Wei, you can go after dinner," he said cheerfully, but Li Wei sensed something was off.

Li Wei felt a flutter of nerves in his stomach as he glanced between Wu Xuan and Mei, unsure of what to do.

Mei must have noticed his hesitation because she spoke up again, "Please, stay for dinner. I insist."

Li Wei bit his lip, considering her offer.

He did feel a bit hungry, and it was getting late.

Plus, the thought of spending more time with such a gorgeous big-titted Onee-san was tempting.

"Okay, I'll stay for dinner. Thank you," he said, trying to sound grateful.

Wu Xuan smiled at him, but Li Wei couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.

...

At the dinner table.

Li Wei sat at the dinner table, taking in his surroundings.

Wu Xuan's father sat across from him, looking serious and stern in his simple t-shirt and pants.

But Li Wei's attention was quickly diverted to Wu Xuan's mother.

Her beauty was striking, with her traditional bun and delicate features.

Li Wei's eyes were transfixed on the woman's ample bosom, which was barely restrained by her dress.

His heart raced as he imagined what it would be like to touch them, but he quickly shook his head to clear his mind.

'What the hell, man? It's Wu Xuan's mom! Control yourself!'

He thought to himself, feeling disgusted with his own thoughts.

Wu Xuan's mother noticed Li Wei's gaze and gave him a warm smile.

"You said your name was Li Wei?" she asked, her voice soft and gentle.

"Yes, ma'am," Li Wei replied, feeling a bit nervous under her gaze.

Wu Xuan's mother chuckled softly, and Mei joined in.

"Don't be so formal, Li Wei. You can call me Auntie," she said, still smiling warmly.

Li Wei nodded, feeling grateful for her kindness.

"Th-Thank you, Auntie," he said, still a bit flustered.

"Dad, Don't you think his name is familiar?"

Wu Xuan's father paused for a moment, his chopsticks hovering in the air.

"I know him," he said, finally lowering his chopsticks back onto his plate.

"Li Wei, the top scorer for the academic scholarship examination this year."

Wu Xuan's father continued, "It's a shame that my own son couldn't achieve what a stranger like you did, Li Wei."

Li Wei's face flushed with embarrassment and he couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy under the scrutiny of Wu Xuan's family.

Li Wei could see Wu Xuan clench his fists under the table, and Mei's expression darkened.

She quickly jumped in to break the tension, "Dad, that's enough. Let's not talk about that anymore."

But her father ignored her and continued, "You know, Li Wei, I heard that the scholarship program is very competitive. You must be quite smart to have scored the top position."

Li Wei nodded nervously, not knowing what to say in response to Wu Xuan's father's words.

"Yea, dad, about that, I found something interesting with my 'Top scorer in scholarship exam' friend here." Wu Xuan suddenly said sarcastically.

Wu Xuan's father raised his eyebrows, curious about what his son had to say.

"Oh? And what would that be?" he asked.

Li Wei's heart sank as he realized what Wu Xuan was doing.

He turned in shock towards Wu Xuan and found him smiling at him, the same way he had always done, except there was a layer of evilness in his eyes in that moment.

'Oh shit...' thought Li Wei.

"Li Wei, can you please give an answer to this question?" Wu Xuan asked, a sly grin on his face.

"If x+y≥a, x-y≤-1 and the minimum value of z=x+ay is 7, a=?"

Li Wei stammered, not knowing the answer to the problem. He had never seen a question like this before.

Wu Xuan's father looked surprised at Li Wei's inability to answer the question.

Wu Xuan's smile grew wider as he spoke confidently, "The answer is -5 or 3."

His eyes remained fixed on Li Wei, as if daring him to challenge the correctness of his answer.

"That was the last question in the scholarship exam that you just scored the top rank on," Wu Xuan continued, his voice dripping with venom.

Suddenly Wu Xuan's face contorted with rage, and his eyes bore into Li Wei's as if they could drill a hole through his skull.

"Li Wei, answer me!" he barked, his voice forceful and demanding.

"For ellipse 9x^2 + 4y^2 = 36, what is the value of the eccentricity?"

Li Wei's mind went blank, his thoughts muddled and confused. He tried to focus, to remember what he had learned, but the words wouldn't come.

"Li Wei, a spaceship is traveling at a constant speed of 0.9c relative to an observer on Earth. The spaceship launches a probe that moves at a constant speed of 0.8c relative to the spaceship. What is the speed of the probe relative to the observer on Earth?"

Again, Li Wei drew a blank. He felt the weight of Wu Xuan's words crushing down on him, suffocating him with their intensity.

"Answer me, Li Wei!" Wu Xuan shouted, his face now twisted with anger.

"What is the maximum possible mass of a white dwarf star, also known as the Chandrasekhar limit, and what is the mechanism that prevents the star from collapsing further under gravity?"

But Li Wei could not answer. His mind was in turmoil, and his body shook with fear. He felt Wu Xuan's rage washing over him, drowning him in its intensity.

"You should be way better than me!" Wu Xuan continued, his voice rising to a fever pitch.

"You are the one who made my father say to me that he was disappointed in me! You are a fraud, Li Wei! You cheated on the exams! You don't deserve to be in the academy! You disgust me!"

"Answer me!!!"

______

Li Wei opened his eyes and blinked a few times, taking in his surroundings.

Slowly, he sat up and rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the last remnants of his dream.

"I can't believe I'm still haunted by that incident," he muttered to himself, his voice barely above a whisper.
