Capital University.
The midterm examinations were drawing closer, and the usually relaxed atmosphere of the university had changed almost overnight.
Students were constantly moving from one place to another, their arms filled with books, notes, and printed reviewers as they hurried toward their next class or searched for somewhere quiet to study.
Everywhere Jiang Yue looked, someone was holding a book, flipping through a stack of papers, or quietly reciting something they had memorized.
For Jiang Yue, however, life had somehow become a little easier.
After she and Luo Zhelan had that talk, life had slowly returned to normal. She went back to attending her classes, completing her work, and spending time with Jiang Xiu.
Unlike before, she no longer felt as though every passing hour was another reminder that she still had not found enough evidence against Xia Mingzhou.
She still needed to find it.
