"How many different transport arrays have you found during this time?"
When I asked this question, the looks on the faces of everyone gathered here didn't look good.
Just from this, I could tell that it must have been much higher than we had expected.
I had also expected this to happen, but there was something that exceeded my expectations in the end.
It was that the sheer amount of portals that had been discovered also surpassed my expectations even when I had already raised them in the first place. It seemed like there was just a massive amount of these portal arrays that were all over the place.
"Have all of these been confirmed?"
"Yes, we've made sure to double check them and we've found that they are all functioning."
This certainly wasn't what I wanted to hear, but it wasn't as if I would doubt the professionalism of these people. After all, it was a gathering of the best of the best that was in this place.
