All of us couldn't help looking at Dorothy with a strange look when she said this.
The way that she said this was too firm, as if she was certain that this was the case.
Only how would she be certain of this…
From what we had asked about her from the other prisoners, she had always been in that prison. She had been there longer than even the prisoner that had been there the second longest.
It was almost as if she had been born in that prison…
None of them had ever heard of her parents before, so they just assumed that she had been kidnapped as a child or something.
But now it seemed like there was more to it.
Seeing that we all looked at her like this, Dorothy just said, "As far as I could remember, I never had parents. From the ones that died before we were saved, they told me that my parents had given birth to me in that place and they died soon after."
