The trip back was deathly silent.
The kraken did follow us, but it didn't have anything to say to the Merman King's group that I came with. It seemed like the kraken was just completely unwilling to acknowledge them at all with how it ignored them.
It wasn't as if the Merman King's group was in any mood to care about this after the revelation that they had just heard.
