Chapter 1948 - Ancestral tomb (3)

The room that was opened was just a corridor that didn't have anything in it.

As I thought, it really was a pain to move through this place.

But it turned out that it was even more of a pain than I thought.

Once we entered the corridor, the Merman King and Ariel went to different sides of this corridor. They moved right up to the wall and raised their hands once more as if they were going to activate something else.

But this time, it didn't seem like anything activated when they pressed their hands up against the walls.

It was only after they did this that the Merman King waved his hand for us to follow him.

I couldn't help looking at him with a confused look when I saw this.

Seeing the way that I looked at him, the Merman King explained, "There's a trap here that needs to be disabled before we head down this corridor."

A wry smile snuck into my lips when I heard this.
