The monsters that were left in the cave just simply weren't a match for the reinforcements from the racial alliance at all.
Most of the monsters had gone as reinforcements and the ones that were left behind were the ones that were too weak to fight.
They were the women and the children of the monsters that had chased after us.
In a way, it was almost as if we were people that were preying on the weak.
Only the monsters didn't deserve that kind of consideration.
In the first place, the monsters weren't intelligent enough to be considered as races that could be reasoned with.
They were creatures that followed their instincts and they had destructive instincts to begin with.
So even if they were weak now, that wouldn't be the case forever.
