It wasn't hard to find a volunteer in the end.
Even though the ones that had been brought back looked afraid of the mermaids after what had happened, that didn't diminish the feelings that they had when they first left this place.
They still wanted to see the outside world and now that we were telling them that they might still have a chance, naturally there was a part of them that wanted to take this chance.
Which was why there were a few volunteers that stepped forward to test the blood vaccine that I had created.
Of course, this was only done after we had confirmed that there was nothing inside of this that would harm them.
