The moons in the vampire settlement were especially bright on the night Miguel and the werewolves were supposed to meet to hand over Orpheus and the rest. The bright illumination from the moon is the reason the title 'High Moon' was used to describe that night.
The Captain of the King's guards and a squad of fourteen werewolves walked to the edge of the forest that bordered the werewolf settlement, entering the vampire settlement. Orpheus and his companions were tied up and situated at the centre of all fourteen werewolves, including the captain.
"Oi, Jerry," Orpheus called out to the Captain of the King's guards, who was escorting them. He had later found out that the latter's name was Jeremiah and chose to stick with Jerry.
