He didn't know how long had passed before he awoke from a pounding headache, slowly opening his eyes.
The scene before him, however, left him completely dumbfounded.
"Oh my, that delivery guy is so handsome!"
"How did he get hit? The poor thing!"
"It's a shame the driver at fault already fled; getting compensation will be difficult..."
Su Xuan saw a crowd of people chattering around him. They weren't from the mountains, but from... the world below! And there he was, lying on the side of the road next to an overturned delivery tricycle.
Sunlight beamed down from above, glaring and intense. He was surrounded by tall buildings and the unending roar of traffic.
What's going on? What the hell is going on? I was clearly helping a little girl get home, and then her head fell off… but how did I end up back in my hometown, as a… delivery guy?!
Su Xuan was flabbergasted, completely unable to grasp the situation.
