Tang Fu suddenly collapsed inside the cave. He had just been carried by the Golden Scaled Crocodile, escaping for his life in a frenzy that left him completely bewildered. After the crocodile killed Ge Yuzhe and rampaged through all of Hua Shui City, Tang Fu had no time to even think about his daughter.
Furthermore, he still harbored a glimmer of hope. That was because he hadn't been the one to kill Ge Yuzhe; the Ge Family shouldn't vent their anger on his daughter. But Su Xuan had rescued him from the prison...
Tang Fu's mind was in turmoil, and he had no idea what to do.
"Brother Tang, don't panic," Su Xuan consoled him. "With Ge Yuzhe dead, the Ge Family will be using all their resources to hunt me down. For the time being, they won't have the chance to bother with you. I have to go into the city again tomorrow, and I'll see if I can bring your daughter back with me."
