Kaneki let out pain filled screams as countless dark balls of fire emerged from his Katana.

As many more emerged from the Katana, his body was covered by a dark red flame.

Immediately after being covered by these dark red flame, Kaneki charged straight towards Kotori with incredible speed.
Crack!
Kotori reacted quickly and created a sword using her own blood and bone and used it to block the incom attack.
Clang!
Swoosh~
Kotori: What?
After the dark red flames disappeared, Kaneki's body unexpectedly reverted to when he was 3 years old.
Drip~
His small face had an expression of sadness, and rage
Kotori: Kaneki-chan?
Kotori grew concerned, seeing her brother like that was not part her plan.
But even so they are still locked in battle, so Kotori couldn't afford to show any mercy even more so with the possibility of Kaneki going berserk.

He charged at her again and instantly destroyed her sword with his.
(No way, that sword was enhanced with the powers I've copied... This is too dangerous I have no choice but to end the fight now)
Determining that it was getting too dangerous, Kotori reluctantly decided to end the battle by defeating Kaneki.
But that alone was easier said than done.
Burst!
Kotori: Again?!
The same thing happened again, a flame of a different dark color covered his body before quickly disappearing and revealing his body being slightly older.
This time he had a mask on his face, and a normal pistol in his left hand.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Kotori: Woah!
He rapidly fired at her not letting her get close.
Burst!
And once again the same thing happened.
In the Stadium*
???: What's happening?
???: This getting concerning.
In the Stadium, everyone watching were all focused on the fight and.
Flash!
The Jumbotron.
As the Battle between siblings continued, the Jumbotron was also displaying memories at the exact same time Kaneki was being covered by flames.
And needless to say, the memories he was seeing were not pleasant.

Horrible memories showing many deaths and Kaneki's failures were being shown simultaneously on the Jumbotron.
The current memory that shown was during the War for Atlantis where Kaneki witnessed the death of one of his Sensei's.
In Fake Shimotsuki*
And at the same time.

And at the same time back in Fake Shimotsuki.
Kaneki had transformed to when he was the Hero of Atlantis, wearing his mask during that time and multiple spikey tentacles growing out of his head and arms.
He wrapped these tentacles around Kotori before driving them in her body.
Inject!
Kotori: Venom?!
All while injecting venom into her body.
Kotori: That's point-

Kotori: Crap!
Kaneki had changed again, with his mask and tentacles gone, he wasin his 6 year old self with a Minigun for an arm.
Buzz~!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
He bombarded Kotori with many bullets point blank.
Kotori: You little! That's it! If you're going to blindly go rampage!
Swoosh!
Kotori rushed towards Kaneki, dodging the bullets being fired at her.
Grip!
Kotori: ORA!
Crash!
Before grabbing onto his neck and quickly throwing him straight into a building.
Boom!
Kotori: Then I'll have to stop you!
She transformed into the her Dragon form, covered in armor made from multiple copied abilities.
Burst!
Kaneki: Grrr!
Emerging from the building, Kaneki stood up on all 4's, red patterns painted on his face, two fox ears and 9 black and red fox tails.
He had transformed into a Kitsune.
Kaneki: HOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWL~!
Kotori: ARGH!
Upon emerging he let out loud howl that shook the skies.
Kotori: My turn!
Blast!
Beam!
Thunder!
Kotori shot out lightning, Laser beams and Fire at Kaneki.
Swoosh!
Kaneki ran back to the city area of Fake Shimotsuki the moment Kotori changed her attack.
Glare!
As she fired, Kaneki used the buildings around him as cover before glaring at Kotori and ran straight to her.
Kaneki: AAAAAAARGH!
Burst!
Flap!
Swoosh~!
Kaneki: SCREEEEEEEEEEEECH!
He then turned into a Harpy with feathers made of black flames.
Stab!
He flew towards Kotori and stabbed his talons straight into her eyes.
Kotori: AAAAARGH!
Wriggle~!
Pierce!
Kotori: Kaneki-chan!
Poof!
Using a tentacle she restrained Kaneki and healed her eye before turning back to her original form while still maintaining her tentacle holding Kaneki.
Swoosh!
Kotori: Ora!
She dragged him to nearby tall building before slamming him through it, just like how Sachi did in her battle with Kaneki.
Burst!
Kotori: How many times will you change?!
After being slammed through the building, Kaneki turned into his 9 year old self during the War of Hell.
Kaneki: AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!
Extend!
Tear!
After screaming loudly Kaneki extended his arms and not just Kotori and her tentacles but even the building they were at were all torn to shreds in an instant.
In the Stadium*
Itsuki: She's having a rough time now huh? It kinda looks genuine now compared to earlier.
Sachi: Wow... That's a lot of death.
Shino: Kaneki...
The Higanbana girls were all horrified as the horrible memories continued to be displayed.
When Kaneki turned to his 9 year old self the memory of when Sayori/Kumiko and Monica/Mika died in front of Kaneki got displayed.
Yuuka: Hey I think I know what those balls of fire are, well I'm just assuming at least.
Chikao: Share it with us then.
Natsuki: Yeah we're all definitely thinking of what they are.
Yuuka: Well... This might sound crazy but I think those balls of fire, are parts of Kaneki's soul.
Natsuki: actually... That doesn't sound crazy, since his body is missing his soul, those balls of fire must be related right? And them being parts of his soul does make some sense.
Miku: Yeah and with the way he was saying Osananajimi Slash Osananajimi Flate, Imouto Kick and the other attacks. Maybe they're also related to Onii-chan's "Heroes"?

Yuuka: Yeah and those other darker flames might might be related to the people he couldn't save and those he had lost?
Sachi: I guess that explains why those memories are being shown each time he gets covered by those dark flames.
Chikao: But would Kaneki be alright? With his umm...

Chikao: Yes. Fragmented soul out of his body it might be trouble, and since Kotori-san seems to be genuinely worried he might do something dangerous.
Natsuki: Yeah that might be true, but.
Natsuki looked at the six balls of fire that first came out of Kaneki.
Natsuki: We'll just to trust Kaneki.
After Natsuki's reassurance.
"WHERE?!"
The Jumbotron stopped showing multiple bad memories and showed one particular memory.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"
Sachi: Man hearing Kaneki's pain filled screams is not fun at all.
Chikao: Yeah i really hate hearing him in pain.
Natsuki: Although it's quite strange, he seems to be in Shimotsuki Forest but there's nothing remotely bad nearby. What could this memory be about?
Natsuki, Sachi and Chikao we're curious to what the current memory showing was about.
But Shino, Yuuka and Miku immediately realized what that memory was about.

They realized it was the day when they unknowingly estranged Kaneki.
Back in Fake Shimotsuki*

Kaneki screamed the loudest he has ever screamed after turning into himself from 3 Months ago.

His body then turned completely into black flames.
Pierce!
His flaming body changed forms as he attacked Kotori again and again.
His flaming body had turned to the shapes of Shin-Ken Kumonos, El Chimera and DreadMoth Beast form.
Kotori: Woah!
As he cycled through these forms repeatedly, he used many attacks he can do in these forms against Kotori.
Thwack!
Kotori: Argh!
From punching.
Pierce!
Stabbing.
Chomp!
And even biting his sister.
But Kotori was getting fed up with him being berserk.
Kotori: Screw this!
Glow~!
She concentrated and amplified the powers she copied into her arm.
Swoosh!
Kotori: Ora!
Thwack!
Boom!
And when Kaneki charged at her, she punched him directly on the face sending him flying.
Crash!
He crashed through many buildings before landing on the roof of Shimotsuki Tower.
Kotori: Sigh~ The battle isn't over yet? taking my baby brother down is really tough- Hmm?
After punching Kaneki away, Kotori noticed that all of the dark balls of fire followed him and began circling Shimotsuki Tower where Kaneki was at.
Glow~!
And in the middle of it all the 6 balls of fire circled directly above Kaneki's body while emitting a faint golden glow.
Flash!
Kotori: Woah!
And just then they glowed brightly and as they glown.
Swoosh~
The 7th Ball of fire that originally came out of Kaneki emerged from the Katana.
And after it emerged.
Glow~!
All 7 of them emitted strings of golden light that slowly connected them to each other and to the darker balls of fire.
Burst!
As the strings connected to one ball to another, their dark colors started to become brighter.
And at the same time.
In the Stadium*
Flash!
Good memories replaced the bad memories that were being displayed on the Jumbotron.
Natsuki: I knew it!
Natsuki was very happy seeing this.
