"Get some sleep, it's getting late."
"Yeah, I know." Ye Muyu's voice was muffled, but she wasn't too unhappy. She wrapped her arms around his waist, found a comfortable position, and the familiar scent along with the warm touch gave her a sense of security, and she soon fell asleep.
Chu Heng leaned down and planted a kiss on her forehead.
In her dreams, Ye Muyu felt even more relaxed and comfortable because of that kiss.
The next morning.
When Ye Muyu woke up, she was surprised to see that Chu Heng hadn't gone to the royal court yet.
Chu Heng heard the movement, put down the official document he was reading, and came over, "Awake?"
"Why are you still home? I thought you had gone to court." Ye Muyu rubbed her eyes, yawned, and slowly woke up.
Chu Heng reached out and rubbed her cheek, pulling her up as he said, "Today's a day off, no court."
