The sight of the soldiers, imposing in their demeanor, made the body tremble instinctively. Hastily raising his hands in a salute, he asked, "Patron, may I ask what brings you to Dewen Temple?"
"Routine inspection." Chu Heng explained simply.
He then walked straight in.
The young monk instinctively wanted to stop him but was quickly held by the guards following him.
Chu Heng didn't give the people inside any time to react. After searching two rooms, he saw the door of the Buddha Hall opposite opening, and two monks walked out from inside.
"Patron, Amitabha."
The old monk saluted Chu Heng and stepped forward to inquire about his purpose.
Chu Heng's gaze directly fell on the familiar face beside him. He looked twice and spoke, "Why is Master Heshan here?"
