Why does the queen have to be so damn rude to her all the goddamn time? Celeste thinks, her eyebrows crumbling down as she gets in. Even though she does not want to, she does not have a choice, so she offers the Queen and King a deep bow, showing them her respect.
Just as she straightens up, her eyes catch on something— someone to be exact, Zelian. Prince Zelian. Celeste's stupid heart skips a beat at the sight of him. A sight she was so desperate to see.
She sends prayers up to the devils that the relief she is feeling right now seeing his gorgeous face is not actually plastered all across her face, because if it is, it will only be another reason for the Queen to resent her.
