Chapter 83 - Prototype Features

Gideon started to work on the prototype that Tiffany would use in the future.

While Tiffany had provided some ideas with her drawings, the basics of what Gideon had to do did not require anything too fancy, so those finishing touches could be added later once everything was completed.

The first part that he had to work on was the skeletal structure before moving on to build on it.

The skeletal structure was built one piece at a time using a life-sized human skeleton model that could be used for professional teaching as a reference.

The anatomy was quite accurate with ligaments along with movable arms, legs and a jaw.

There were some additional muscle origin and insertion points that were used as a reference to help build it.

The metals used to create each piece of the skeleton were not too heavy, but they were not too light either, when combined so that they would be able to move around without the weight making it too heavy to lift anything or too light to maintain balance and stability.

The metals that made each of the individual parts were made from quite durable, so that the insides would be quite durable.

Each of the individual parts would be put together later to complete the whole skeletal structure.

The next step was to begin to install certain features into some of the available places without making them stand out too much.

There would be voice recorders that would be placed near the side of the head, near where the ears would be put so that needed to be small enough that they would go unnoticed.

Gideon ended up going with miniature microphone pieces that would be wired to another device that would be positioned inside the body so that the recorded sounds could be transmitted or recorded.

A small speaker was soon positioned inside the skull at the back of the throat position while facing toward the jawbone.

The wiring passed down the neck area before going toward the connected device that would act as the communicator or receiver for anything that would be expected to be spoken through it if it were put to use by Tiffany.

Some more of the things she asked for were installed before Gideon moved on to completing the rest of the outer casing and other parts that would fill the insides.

Small cameras were placed into each of the eyeballs, while the wiring passed down toward the device it was connected to, which was positioned around the same area near the abdomen, just below the ribcage.

The front of the eyes was made to be slightly more detachable, as several different parts were made which could be put onto it, allowing for a little more versatility when picking out an eye color.

A small removable hatch was added to the back, which could be used to retrieve anything, like a memory card, if something was recorded, or to fix something if something happened to become damaged for any of the connecting equipment.

Once everything was built well enough, the next stage came for the outer layer of skin to be applied over the outer layer of body casing that was built around the skeleton.

Silicone skin molds were placed around all of the parts of the body before extra finishing touches were added to it.

The top of the head had a slightly adjustable part which could be used to attach and remove any attachments like wigs or other accessories, so that those things would not fall off once put on and so that they could be replaced if it was needed to do so.

There was soon a body that looked like it could pass off as a human, which was quite tall and had an androgynous body type and facial features.

Extra features were added to it, like adding eyelashes and eyebrows, before a position was added to allow a wig to be attached to the top of the head.

There were a variety of different eyeball and wig attachments, while the rest of it would remain the same unless there were some alterations that would be made to it.

Some additional items were made according to later requests that Tiffany made before the finished product was shipped in a large box to the specified address.

The box later arrived, where it was transported in a delivery truck toward a storage unit that Tiffany had purchased not too far outside of the same city where she was currently living.

The storage unit kept it there until Tiffany learned about it so she got Butch to take her there.

Puck joined them as the driver while Butch sat in the other front seat while Tiffany was seated in the back.

The atmosphere was a little closer than before, which suggested that the awkwardness between them had gone away.

Tiffany watched from the back seat as they were talking to each other quite warmly while thinking to herself. 'So that was what he was doing. I did not mean to spy on him too much, but I did wonder who he was buying flowers for.'

There were times when Tiffany checked in on Butch but did not do it for too long after seeing that things were fine.

She happened to see him inside a flower shop purchasing flowers, so she did not stick around for much longer.

It might not have been too obvious, but there had been a subtle change that took place when it came to the mood of Puck when she was protecting Tiffany.

Puck had been quite down ever since she heard about everything related to the person she was dating but she suddenly bounced back not too long after Tiffany saw Butch purchasing the flowers.

Suddenly, the awkwardness and the distance between the two of them had vanished, and they seemed much closer.
