The company that she had watched over was just one of many that she had been able to watch over and learn a lot of insider information and secrets.
It was not always so easy and simplistic to achieve such a feat, but there was always a way.
One method was usually through the lower staff, who were usually considered to be invisible.
If they were vulnerable to manipulation due to a need for money or they had secrets they did not want to be leaked out, then they could be asked to do something very small that they would not consider to be all that important.
Such a small request would make them feel like it was so trivial that they would feel no guilt over doing it, and they would probably forget all about it after returning to their original duties and everyday life.
All that was asked of them was to identify what toys or figurines were on display in certain rooms of those toy companies they worked in.
What followed was that they would switch out one or two of them in each room with one of the same that had been prepared and sent to them.
So long as the chosen item was not an expensive collectable that was on display, it was quite simple for Tiffany to arrange the purchase of their regularly sold products to make it one of her connected items that she could possess.
Once they were switched out, she would gain a lot of access, and nobody would ever know, even if the people making the switch messed up and got caught.
Such a plan could be risky at times, but there was nothing to trace back to Tiffany or those connected to that, as a result of there being no direct contact being made.
Most of the things would usually be handled through deliveries to the targeted person to handle such a task.
If they ignored it and did not carry it out, then they would be rejecting what was offered and would likely have things exposed about them, so it was something that they could have prevented if they had taken things more seriously.
If the switch was noticed in some way, then nobody would be able to tell that there was anything strange about the items that had been switched to be put in the place of the previous item.
It was possible that such an item could be suspected to contain some form of spy equipment that transmitted captured and recorded images or sounds, but nothing would be found, even if those things were taken apart piece by piece.
The worst that could happen would be that such an item would be replaced by something else, as they would choose to destroy or discard it somewhere.
Tiffany would lose the chance to monitor them, but it would not lead to her getting caught.
If one attempt failed, then perhaps such places would have their guard up against further attempts in the future, but many would not consider it to be a major breach in their security, and they would not see it as a potential threat to them to take action against it.
They would simply remain ignorant of the fact that there was a threat that they should be paying attention to.
That sort of mistake that anyone could make in that situation would cost them, as they would fail to notice such a small thing that could be used to pry into their every action and word within those locations where they were placed.
If it failed once, then another attempt could be made, resulting in the same process being completed.
If there was a rearrangement of the things on display, then she just needed to assess what was on display after everything had changed to allow her to get someone to place something in the place of one of the things that had been placed there.
If the timing was right when they were being monitored, then it was perfect for Tiffany to gain such valuable information, like the current discussion that had been happening.
It just so happened that their discussion, which they had intended to keep to themselves as they would put together their project, was overheard as a result of Tiffany knowing the inner workings of their company and the set place and time of their meetings.
They would have never known that the very thing they had been discussing would become very useful information that would be used by Tiffany to let another company take advantage of the very same opportunity before any others besides themselves.
It was even more important that Tiffany had been able to gain some freedom in her life, as she was able to begin using those sorts of methods more often as a result of her actions no longer being noticed by those around her.
She always had to be wary of where she went and the things she came into contact with during her time living at the carnival, as anything could end up revealing what she had been doing.
