I locked the fuck in the moment I got home and well away from Yanyo Hanying. With some fucky shit going on. I wanted to be as powerful as possible and hitting Foundation Establishment was the best way for me to do that!
So with several herbs I mashed together into a herbal bath to feed the wood part of my Spirit Root with both herbal wood, and refined water energy. I ignited my spirit root and as I pushed my twelve-layer Meridian Cleansing's qi to it's limits.
'Foundation Establishment at it's core is taking our wisps of Qi we channel through our Meridian's and turn that Qi into liquid pools of Qi in our Dantian that will self sustain itself.
That self-sustaining nature was why so many 'Qi Refiners' were stopped without resources at reaching Foundation Establishment. If they didn't properly clear out their Meridian's or took to long to do so.
Your Dantian woudn't be able to hold the qi and self-regenerate over time, leading to the qi becoming stagnant and then the Dantian would collapse as the stagnant qi got too dense for the Dantian to hold.
But with my acupuncture method of clearing my Meridian's and that Yin-Yang Mountain Milk meant that I would have the perfect foundation and no bottleneck in my cultivation at this point.
Having all 12 of my Meridians flooded with energy ,I finally broke through my own limits I put on the veins entry points to my Dantian, and with a sigh of relief, I felt my overly full qi flood into my dantian.
Then I began chanting the mantra for the Everburning Tree of Transcendence, and the Manifesting World Tree Technique as I refined high-quality Wood Spirit Root into a Heaven Spirit Root that itself began changing.
The wood portion of my cultivation manual was in of itself a constant evolution of the wood spirit root portion that I had in my Five Element Spirit Root, and from a base high-grade spirit root.
With my Qi senses unlocked my Dantian filling up for the first time. Allowing me to truly look inside of my body with my qi senses, I watched as the wood spirit root transformed into a tree that bloomed to life within my Dantian at the core of where my Five Elements Spirit Root was.
And it was only through the vast amount of reading I had done to learn what herbs and such were what so I could use my farm cheat for alchemy, that I recognized what my Spirit Root had transformed into.
'The Azure Dragon Heart Tree... That is certainly interesting.' I mused before I gritted my teeth at feeling my fire energy sputtering and failing to burn upon the much stronger wood base I had now.
So I took out the Beast Flame that Yanyo Hanying gave me and then I hissed with my leg's snapping out and I held in a scream as the purple Beast Flame was absorbed directly into my dantian.
The Fire branch of my spirit root quickly absorbed the suppressed Beast Fire but to say the least... Having a fire with spirituality get sucked into my body hurt beyond anything else I had dealth with so far.
It was a fire that burnt at my spirit and concioussness but I had to just deal with it as I had to feed the fire to my fire spirit root.
And after close to half an hour of agony, the process was over... The herbal bath I was in, long having absorbed all the medicinal energy was steaming from the heat of my body from absorbing the spiritual fire.
But with that. I finally sagged in the bath. My head resting on the back wall as I had succeded not only in Foundation Establishment. But also in laying the path to Golden Core in the future with the Beast Flames Path unlocked.
"Now I can just feed more Beast Flames to strengthen it, my alchemy flames, and my cultivation speed in general so long as my Wood Spirit root can take the flames." I muttered tiredly.
Actually getting the Azure Dragon Fruit tree as my second stage bound spirit root was fantastic in of itself. Granted it's fire resistance wasn't the greatest.
But the wood itself was perfect for making talisman's and the fruits most especially were the Azure Dragon Fruits themselves. Which was the ingredient in... Alot of extremely powerful elixers.
"Growing inside of me I wonder how long it will take the tree to sprout some of the fruits? It can't take centuries like they do normally right?" I mused helplessly.
As the fruits were used as the key ingredients in a number of tier three elixers meant for Golden Core cultivators. Like the Core Formation Pill, Eternal Beauty Pill, Body Transformation Elixer, and many others.
Any thoughts of possibly taking a tiny sample of the tree to add to my farming space however were going to need to wait as I was going to need to wait for the tree itself to grow.
But then I came to a bit of a realization beyond just the powerful life force of the bound spirit root that would evolve and continue to feed my fire spirit root.
'No wonder this cultivation manual was a Purple chance for Zhu Yuan in making a divine grade Cultivation manual with all five elements. This manual itself peaks at just below immortal ranks because of the fact that Wood needs Water to feed it as well."
Water fed Wood which in turn fed Fire. Fire then fed the Earth, and the Earth finally fed Metal with Metal feeding Water. And from there the cycle continued.
'I need to fill out the rest of my elemental aligments... Hmm, due to the cyclic nature of my own spirit roots, I can pick up a simpler water manual and it won't matter as much until much later on especially if I get one without any special attributes.
Getting a simple water, metal, and earth cultivation manual would be for the best as should it not have any special attributes then that would allow me to build off it in the future when I got higher tier manuals to fuse.
Or... Assuming I coudn't somehow get a copy of Zhu Yuan's cheat manual she would make in the future.
All those thoughts were for the future however.
As I was now a little Foundation Establishment cultivator who was only now worth a damn to the Sect. Or at least they had to notice and pay attention me with my growth.
'Thankfully the Law Enforcement Branch is fucking nuts in this sect.' I mused as I wondered how that Elder meeting with even the Sect Master being in attendance was going... I coudn't help but wonder if Hanyo Yanying's master was getting lynched?
I opened up my spatial ring and with a hum I took out the Everburning Tree of Transcendence Technique as being in the Foundation Establishment realm. I now had access to more spells that perfectly fit the manual itself.
As while I hit for the next few days to settle my realm. I could also spend my time getting used to my far denser now liquid qi that filled my dantian as I practised these spells and techniques.

A dozen elder's including Elder Taiyu, the leading Enforcement Elder who had brought this meeting into existence as well as the Sect Master, the Head Elder, and of course Elder Xiaoli Shan the elder whose seal was 'forged'.
The Sect Master, the leader of the Sect while the true oldest monsters remained in cultivation or intermingling with the Sect and guarding outside of it.
Had a stern middle aged visage but his aura hinted at being well beyond the Nascent Soul realm at the very least as Xiaoli Shan, being only a first stage Nascent Soul and stuck there for the rest of his life. Coudn't meet his gaze due to the simple power difference.
"Where is your seal Elder Shan." Sect Master Tian Xuoshu demanded coldly at seeing the Elder grimace.
There was a pause as all waited for the elder to present the seal that was proof of being an Elder of the Sect.
But no seal was produced... Finally Xiaoli Shan spoke through thin lips. "It seems that I have forgotten it back with my private abode. I left it there as I still have much paperwork to do regarding the demon that the Saintess Zhu Yuan found in Shanghai."
Zhu Yuan's master was also here. Cai Xuan a beauty with long silverish hair but an icy visage especially with how she looked at Shan Xiaoli with the clear intent to cause him harm for messing with her own disciple with his pressure at the library.
"Oh yes, my disciple did so well in destoying that demon." Cai Xuan spoke proudly, rather arrogantly to his face. But then Cai Xuan added coldly.
"It's really not hard to put away a seal. The seal that let's you in and out of the sect, how could you even cultivate to Nascent Soul if you forget a soul bound artifact?"
The Sect Master cleared his throat with power radiating from him as Elder Shan's face darkened at the blatant insult. "Elder Shan's... Forgetfulness aside, the issue is that your seal was used to falsify orders. Orders that were inherently illegal, dangerous, and a threat to the Sect itself."
Elder Shan's face went pale as he actually spluttered. "But... Only my son touched my seal! My son isn't a traitor!"
To which Cai Xuan said flatly. "He tried to send Jake Bariss, the font of the Sect's surge of Fortune and Luck into a new Foundation Establishment ranked dungeon... Funny thing is, I just checked that dungeon and there was a trio of wounded Golden Core demons within it."
The Sect Master continued in a brutally cold tone. "Entire Sect's live and die by the feelings of these Son's of Heaven. Font's of potential the very world blesses and ordains to bring glory to our world as they grow to conquer other worlds and planes... What happens if Jake died? What if he survived and fled the Sect thinking we wanted him dead?"
Elder Shan's mouth opened and flopped about before he said quietly. "Yanyo Hanying... He got close to the girl I prepared for my son."
It was painfully clear to the elder what had happened. His son feeling cucked of the beauty he had raised for him tried to have the two of them killed. It was painfully clear as he saw the letter/order that was delivered for Jake Bariss and Yanyo Hanying.
Even if his stupid son only meant to make Jake and Yanyo have issues. The fact there were hidden sleeping demons meant that doing the first true clear. Jake and Yanyo would have run into those demons.
And regardless of what would have happened if Jake went... He would be on the hook for whatever happened with how his seal was stolen.
Cai Xuan snorted coldly. "Just because you are her master. Doesn't mean you have the right to decide her marriage."
Elder Shan coudn't respond to that as Cai Xuan was infamously proud. And far more powerful than Xiaoli Shan as well. With a penchant for rather brutal 'sparring' as well.
Finally Elder Shan exhaled and with his back to his chair he said calmly. "So what is to happen now? I will pre-say that I will be using all my previous merits to keep my son from having his cultivation saved and not having him banished from the Sect."
Cai Xuan looked ready to speak, to hit him while he was down but then the Law Enforcement elder Taiyu spoke coldly. "Betrayel of the Sect in purposfully sending a fellow disciple to death has one punishment. Death itself."
The room went dead silent as Elder Shan's weaker but still Nascent Soul aura roiled before he said bluntly. "You will end my bloodline... Over my own dead body."
The Law Enforcement Elder then tilted his head to the side and said calmly and with zero inflection. "Refusal to allow Sect Disciple and interfering with a death sentence... Is also a death sentence to yourself regardless of your rank."
Even Cai Xuan pulled back a bit as she knew that saying anything would paint her with the same dirty brush of the Law Enforcement branches zealous hunt of Absoulute Justice. The only form of justice that would allow a sect filled with thousands of immortals and having a lineage of three thousand years to continue strong without fading due to infighting.
Finally the Sect Master spoke and his aura flooded the room and all the elders who were in the Nascent Soul ranks had to bow their heads as he said firmly.
"Jake Bariss is blessed by the world... He WILL face trials in order to grow at the break neck pace all such geniuses grow at as well all know. Elder Shan's... Stupid child was being used by fate to act as a stepping stone and trial."
The Sect Master shook his head before saying more calmly as his aura let up. "He will be sent from the Sect, with his cultivation not destroyed and he will need to slay a hundred demons of the same realm as himself or higher."
The room digested the Sect Master's worlds before the Law Enforcement Elder said slowly.
"In the events that a crime has not led to any harm or losses due. A disciple CAN redeem themselves in service to the world through slaying demons. The Law Enforcement Hall will not pursue this further, should he take any... Any form of further revenge upon Jake or Yanyo Hanying I will take his head personally."
The Sect Master nodded and with his voice a deeper boom. "Now that the main issues have been cleared. Elder Shan, for the misplacement of your Elder Seal you are to be confined for introspection within your own mansion for the next six months. All your duties will be remanded if need be."
Elder Shan bowed his head low and said quietly. "I will calm my mind and keep this infraction in my heart... May I have a day with my son to speak with him before he is sent away to find his own lot in life?"
The other elder's many with their own lineage gave nods to Elder Shan's final request with the Sect Master grunting before saying in dismissal. "Very well. He has the rest of today and until sundown tommorrow to remain within the Sect."
