These Blood Energy baths were the equilvalent of taking a piece of probably 2500-3000 year old Whale Gel's medicinal efficency. So with their effects on us lower leveled soul masters.
The baths had... Very noticable effects on us, especially the weaker spirit masters like Oscar, Ning Rongrong, as well as Zhu Zhuqing.
Xiao Wu and Tang Wutong's enhancements weren't 'as great' but they also already had much stronger bodies at this point anyway.
Their second soul rings age were literally better then all of Dai Mubai's three rings put together as well.
As for myself? I was already ready for my third spirit ring that would be ten thousand years of cultivation. I just needed to wait for Oscar, Rongrong, and Zhuqing to reach the same level.
Ma Xiaotao however was closer to Mubai's level so she would need to focus on her fourth spirit ring instead as she was a couple years older then us.
But Dai Mubai himself clearly gotten the best upgrade from this herbal bath that was perfectly designed for his martial soul.
But after everyone got done being cooked in the herbal 'soup'. Flender finally called us to attention by ringing the school bell bright and early the next morning.
And as we all came out of our shitty dorms I saw Oscar was still flushed with excess blood energy, and same for Ning Rongrong who glared at me with watery eyes. While Zhu Zhuqing looked at me with an unknown thoughts in her eyes.
"Hmph! If I didn't break through after being in that bath. I would have had my grandfathers hang you up by a tree and beat you!" Ning Rongrong pouted with watery eyes at the reminder of the pain she went through.
And with a hum I took in the rest of the Shrek members and said thoughtfully. "You all broke through at least one level right? So I hope that some people don't complain about my alchemy and medicine."
Ning Rongrong's pout became a scowl at my rather pointed words with Flender laughing hard as he said with glee. "Haha if I had my mind back when I was a kid and had those baths. I would use them every single day! Having a powerful body is as Tian Long pointed out, the principal matter of the level of Spirit Rings a Soul Master can have!"
He looked at us and said with pride. "With Tian Long's bath's elixirs, and other methods. I am sure you all will break the limits of the known spirit ring acceptance levels!"
Then Tang Wutong's face pinched as Xiao Wu said rather flatly. "Yeah... The limits set by that Xiaogang. Who is actually the teacher here anyway."
I coughed as although Tang Wutong wasn't as fanatical about protecting Yu Xiaogang's reputation as 'Tang San' was. Well Xiaogang was still our master and she tried to give him respect for the title.
Though... I was rather confused as to where the hell my wikipedia for Soul Beasts were right now? He didn't have a reason to be running off right?
Still I shrugged and said. "Anyway, Mubai will also be getting a 10,000 year ring for his fourth spirit ring. But its going to take work and also an elixir to protect his mind from the mental backlash from the spirit ring of that age."
It was Flander's turn to look awkward as he said helplessly. "Haaa... You really are going make me and Zhao Wuji work like a mule for you kids aren't you?"
And this time it was Tang Wutong who said flatly. "You are going to be using us in the Spirit Arena's to make money as well. Don't forget Tian Long's schemes for your protection rackets and 'hero actions' of robbing corrupt nobles who can't report their criminal losses."
Flender coughed and gave Mubai, Rongrong, and Zhuqing looks as they were part of the peak of nobility in this world before he said firmly to change the subject. "In anycase! Tian Long, will hard exercise affect your states after taking those baths?" He questioned me.
While several of my teamates looked at me in despair at the shake of my head. They actually sagged as I continued. "Exercise right now is good for us especially. But long exercise that drains out life energy isn't. We need to push ourselves in powerful bursts to digest the excess blood energy while not utterly exhausting ourselves."
Taking a breath I continued. "I suggest using Gravity based training through the use of Zhao Wuji's soul skill. While we all meditate under a waterfall. This will further refine our bodies, enhance our cultivation speed with all of the pressure on us. As well as help us digest the excess blood energy in the times when Zhao Wuji is using his soul skill."
There was a heavy pause as Ning Rongrong and Oscar who were 'mere' Support class Soul Masters looked at me like I was the fucking devil. But then Flender sighed and said helplessly. "If only you were a decade older Tian Long... I would tie you up and make you a teacher here."
He still nodded and said thoughtfully. "I do know where a large waterfall is just outside of Soto City as well. You kids get some extra clothes to change, and girls grab some blankets to make some curtains to change behind after the training is over. I am going to go get Wuji real quick."

Flender and Zhao Wuji brought us out of Soto City and into the nearby wilderness without much fanfare or events until we reached the large waterfall in question.
Once I saw the waterfall I looked to Flender and Wuji, and I had to say. "Teachers, we need some boulder's moved directly under the waterfall. We can't be swimming under the waterfalls after all."
Wuji groaned at the effort he would need to use before he said in annoyance to Flender. "Dammit, you old bird. You knew there was going to be hard labor involved for me didn't you?"
Still he nodded and said in annoyance. "Fine. Just give me a minute to go find some boulders to make a flat area for you brats."
As only Zhao Wuji with his Vigirous Vajra Bear, Martial Soul and great physcial power would be able to easily move a bunch of large boulders under the waterfall and set them up.
And with that while the boys and I just changed into some shorts. The girls went and got changed into some weird robes with thick padding in private areas so that they woudn't have their skin exposed.
It took Zhao Wuji a good while to make a good sized platform of flat stones under the waterfall but in the meantime. I kept myself busy as I went around the large waterfall looking for herbs which did pay off!
"Hmm a small puddle of hundred year River Tear Drops. And some Mistveil Grass which can help make the Spirit Protection pill I will need for the ten thousand year ring!" I said happily before I looked to Zhao Wuji and asked.
"While you were swimming, did you see any spirit beasts or anything in the water?"
Zhao Wuji shrugged and said blandly. "Nope, just some common fish I guess?"
My lips twitched at that damned useless answer before I took a breath and using my Inner Strenght from the Flamer Emperor's body to seal my acupoints to save breath as I stepped into and sunk into very clear water.
'With how primal this world is most of the time. There isn't any in the way of industrial pollution or anything and with the rushing water. The water itself is super clear.' I thought as I swam down to the bottom of the pond and began looking around for more resources as well.
And soon enough, I came across the 'fishes' that Wuji mentioned and I made a humming noise before I drifted slowly closer to them before I flexed my thumb which sent needles from the wrist launcher that Tang Wutong made me through the water and into the fishes as they were actually quite valuable for my alchemy!
Ten year white and even a couple hundred year yellow spirit rings started filling up the pond and giving it's depths light allowing me to see polished aqua jade stones which I could use in my Pure Water Alchemy.
So after gathering up the fish, the stones which could help me refine poisonous materials with my water path of alchemy, I finally found something really good!
'Oh shit this is good for Zhu Zhuqing!' I thought as I found some Silver Scaled River Fruits. Which were cherry sized fruits that had hard silver scales that would match the surrounding colors of the rocks near them and while they could be used in some alchemy. Their medicine energy were very gentle and could be eaten/absorbed without preparation.
I finally surfaced with a cough and shook my head before I quickly swam over with a grin covering my face as I called out. "Hey guys I got some goodies come on over! Tang Wutong, I am going to need to borrow a very sharp, very delicate knife real quick!"
And as I went over to the table that Ning Rongrong had stashed inside of her much larger storage Soul Tool. I brought out the Silver Scaled River Fruits with Tang Wutong letting out a chuckle of appreciation.
"These are indeed some good things! Just consuming them raw will nourish someone's muscles. Making them slightly more flexible and having a stronger burst strength, perfect for support and agility spirit masters in particular who need that issue to be shored up."
I nodded with a grin as I added. "Yup, and having our muscles made more elastic just before getting pounded by this waterfall and Zhao Wuji's gravity wave will further help our bodies tolerance level! Haha, that ten thousand year third Soul Ring for myself is just within reach!"
