The morning sun burned bright over Cromwell Kingdom.
Across every city, town, and small village, crowds gathered near statues, shrines, or makeshift awakening altars. The beast-taming fever had spread like wildfire. Every child, teenager, and young adult who had reached the age of awakening was there—some trembling, others too excited to breathe properly.
The world was changing, and everyone could feel it.
In the capital's temple plaza, hundreds of new Beast Tamers stood in line. Most were still in disbelief that this was even possible.
"Are you sure it'll work for me?" a nervous boy asked.
His friend grinned. "Of course it will! You just have to put your hand on the statue and focus."
The boy took a deep breath, stepped forward, and placed his palm on the stone surface. A faint glow rose from the base of the statue.
Moments later, a screen flashed across his face.
"Hahahaha, it worked!!!" the boy shouted, his voice trembling with excitement and disbelief.
