Chapter 945 - Pure of heart

After leaving the chamber of the forest they entered a narrow passage that seemed deliberately complex and the same happened with the glyphs carved on the walls that now covered the entirety of the surface. The change was so overwhelming that even Nika couldn't help but notice it and decided to ask, though more than curiosity she wanted to take Uriel's mind off of his recently lost Jaguar friend.

"What's the deal with this gibberish? Is there a reason why there were so few carvings in the walls at the beginning of this dungeon and now the walls look like my school table."

"So, you did go to school." Uriel gasped jokingly. Nika couldn't tell whether he was actually relaxed or if he was feigning it. Nevertheless it helped to ease a part of her worries.

"Come on, I'm being serious. This gives me a bad vibe. It's like we're walking on to the boss chamber of an old arcade game."
