Chapter 16 :- The Hellvin Ascendancy
Prologue: The Fusion of Dualities
The air crackled with primordial energy as Nero and Eri's souls entwined, their fusion igniting a storm of red and blue light. Horns spiraled from Nero's brow—a crown of infernal might—while his eyes blazed with opposing hues: one the cold azure of divine judgment, the other the molten crimson of hellfire.
Obsidian and Ember (merged into a shimmering entity):
"Behold the Hellvin Gate—where divinity and damnation collide."
Nero's senses exploded. He felt everything: the heartbeat of the earth, the whispers of distant stars, the fragile pulse of every lifeform. Too much.
Nero (internally):
This power… it's devouring me.
Scene 1 - The Sustainers' Warning
The Ethereal Plane — Aftermath of Ascension
Obsidian and Ember, now separated, loomed like ancient titans.
Obsidian:
"Use one Gate at a time. The Hellvin's duality could unmake your world."
Ember:
"For full power, summon the Arena of Eternal Battles—a realm forged by the Primordial to contain Gate Users' wrath."
Nero (clenching his hybrid claws):
"And you? What Gate do you wield?"
Obsidian (smirking):
"The Seventh. Pray you never face it."
Their laughter echoed as they vanished, leaving Nero trembling with awe—and dread.
Scene 2 - The Shattered Sanctuary
Eye of Destruction — Baltimore's Refuge
Nero awoke to chaos. Baltimore shielded their physical forms in a crumbling hut, his barrier reduced to shards.
Baltimore (grim):
"Your fusion shattered all barriers—Fernando's included. He's here for the Hellvin Gate."
Eri (voice echoing from Nero's mind):
The villagers…
Baltimore:
"Protected, but not for long. Fernando's generals hunt us."
Nero's horns gleamed. "Let them come."
Scene 3 - The Guardian's Wrath
Monster Village — Battle Under Bloodied Skies
Nero strode into the fray, disguised but unmistakable—the horn piercing his hood like a blade. Villagers whispered hope; soldiers drew swords.
Aryavartan Lieutenant:
"Identify yourself, beast!"
Nero (voice trembling the earth):
"Leave. Or burn."
A soldier lunged at a child. Nero moved—a blur of red and blue—and the man's head rolled.
Soldier (radioing):
"S-rank threat! Requesting—"
Nero crushed the device. "No reinforcements. Just me."
Epilogue: The Calm Before Oblivion
Baltimore's Journal — Hidden Entry
"The Hellvin Gate's power is a tempest. Nero controls it… for now. But Fernando's greed is a shadow creeping closer. And the Primordial stirs—it hungers for their fusion. Gods help us all."
Writer's Note:
The fuse is lit. Nero and Eri's bond is their greatest strength—and vulnerability.
