Jake was the first to return inside the house since he didn't see any reason why he had to stand there with them watching Ha-nuel.
Haewon followed, and the moment Charlotte joined them, Haewon turned to her, "We need a moment alone, Lottie," Haewon said, and Charlotte shrugged as she excused them.
Once they were alone, neither of them said a word to each other for a moment. While Jake was busy waiting for Haewon to apologize to him or say whatever she wanted to say, Haewon was waiting for Jake to express his disappointment.
"Are you not going to say anything?" Haewon asked after some time when it seemed like he wasn't going to say a word.
"I already apologized for showing up unexpectedly. I didn't know you had a guest. I didn't expect to meet him here, not after our discussions yesterday. I guess he was the reason you weren't excited to see me. If you had told me he was visiting, I would give you all the space you needed," He said, trying to keep his annoyance under control.
