Shaurya came out of the autorickshaw and looked at the hotel where he had been called. "Thank you, boss," he paid the fare and then proceeded to go inside the hotel room.
"How can I help you, sir?" a lady at the reception asked. He then showed her the message which he had been told to show after reaching the hotel. The lady saw the email and smiled. She said, "Fifth floor, room number 20."
He nodded, and after thanking her, he walked towards the lift, and after a minute, he reached in front of the door. He looked at the number plate hanging on the door and then rang the bell.
After a while, a man came and opened the door. He looked at Shaurya and then said with a smile on his face, "Welcome, Mr. Shaurya, others are waiting for you. Please come in."
Shaurya was surprised as he thought that he would be the first to visit, as he always liked to be the first and observe the others. But it looked like this time he failed to do so. Not wanting to make a scene here, as no one except him was at fault here, so nodding, he entered the room.
As he had expected the room is as lavish as it could get. At first, he had thought about the ridiculous amount of salary offered to him, which raised the question of the employer's capability, but now he got a little assurance.
After that, he reached the hall. He saw four people seated there. Out of the four, he knew the man who was seated in front of those three as he had seen him in the video sent to him. He approached them. Arjun then sat at the seat near Karna, as he and Karna both looked in the direction of the new members who were staring at each other, wanting to know about them.
Seeing the intense staring between each person, Karna decided to interfere. He cleared his throat, gaining everyone's attention, and then said, "So, before I let you see the things that I had promised you in the video sent to each one of you, I want two things to be done by your side. The first one is to introduce yourselves to others with your real name and your social page name. I will tell the next after this."
Everyone else nodded, and one by one, they started introducing themselves to others. The first one to do so was Mr. Shaurya. He stood up from his seat and said, "Hello everyone, my name is Shaurya Bhushan, and my social page name is Mr. Anonymous. I am a game designer and a game blogger. You all may have read some of my blogs."
As soon as he said that, two people were shocked: first the young lady, and then the young man. The young lady asked, "So, you are Mr. Anonymous?" "I had thought it to be some old egoistic man, but you were a man in your thirties," the young man said.
Shaurya smiled as he felt his nose became high due to pride, but the next sentence from the lady made him shocked: "Hello everyone, my name is Priya Advani, and my social page name is Miss Analytics. I, unfortunately, am not a game designer, but I have all the required knowledge."
"You, so you are the one who always points out the mistakes from my work? Didn't think that someone as young as you could point out the mistakes," Shaurya said as he looked in her direction. She gave him a warm smile, and then the young man got up from his seat. He then says, "Ha-ha, I didn't think that I would meet the two real people whom I am following on the gamers world page. I am a fan of both of your views."
Both Shaurya and Priya smiled. He then continued, "Anyway, my name is Ramcharan Ayer, but you all can call me Ram, and my social page name is RamatheCritical. I am a game critic and an expert game control designer."
This time, everyone apart from Karna and Arjun was shocked as they read the various criticisms given by Ram. He was quite a famous critic in the gaming world. Shaurya silently spoke, "Now, in this world, age is just a number. Sigh."
Now everyone's attention was on the old man as they all were curious to know about him because till now, each person had surprised the other, so they all were waiting for the next surprise. Seeing everyone's attention on him, the old man smiled and said, "Namaste, everyone, my name is Kashyap Bhoomi, and my social page name is Kashyapdraws. I am not well known on social media, but I am a professional game characters designer. It's nice to meet persons of such talents and capabilities."
Others also smiled, and in just a minute of talk, they all came quite close with each other as the common elements of the game played their role. Seeing this, both Karna and Arjun smiled. He then again cleared his throat, gaining their attention, and said, "Now that you all get to know each other, let me introduce the last things that I want you all to do."
He then signaled Arjun, who brought four files and placed them on the table. They all looked at the files placed in front of them. The file was black in color and had a symbol of the Government of India. They were surprised. "The file which is kept in front of you has the paper of non-disclosure agreement. You all have to sign it. Don't get me wrong, I am just being cautious," Karna said with a serious look on his face.
Others nodded and then read the agreement before signing it. They knew it was a common practice of signing such an agreement, so they didn't think much, and there was nothing wrong with the agreement.
Seeing that everyone complied with that so easily, Karna became happy. He then said in complete excitement, "With that, now let me introduce the new face of gaming and the new project that you all will be working on with me."
He then removed the red curtain placed at one side of the room. As soon as he removed it, all the other people could see the equipment. They all became curious, and then Karna turned to their side and said, "Let me introduce the future of the gaming world."
"Fuck, this shit is so real!"
"Damn, are you a genius, sir? How could you develop something like this?"
"So complex emotions and also so complex system, how?"
"This baby dragon is so cool! I like the details which are highlighted by this machine of yours. Sir Karna, it is amazing and mind-blowing!"
"Old man, you are just amazed by the details of this baby dragon that is so small. Look at the flying movement of this cute guy! How can it be so flawless and smooth? Look, I can even feel the movements of air near its wings!"
"You all are amazed by this dragon? Humph! Can you people not feel the storm this can bring in the industry and the game? My God, it literally makes me have an orgasm just by thinking the ideas which can be built with the help of this!"
"That's so weird. Anyway, I cannot see any flaw here except for that black box thing which is the soul of this whole machine, and by the look in your eyes, I can say that you have your plans."
Karna and Arjun both waited for a few hours to calm their excited and shocked minds. After the whole drama, they all sat down in their respective seats, and then Karna asked, "I hope now you all are satisfied with the results?"
"More than satisfied," they all said with a bright smile on their faces. After that, Karna gave them another file. This time, it included the details of the investors and other stuff. It also mentioned their salary and the other rules and regulations.
After reading it twice, they all signed it one by one, and then Karna raised a glass of juice, and the others raised the wine. They all cheered, "With this, I, Karna Khurana, the owner of Maya Company, announce you all to be the core member of this project. Let's cheer for the great game that we all will be going to create!"
"Cheers!" And with that, the meeting and talks were over as the world's best team had been formed to create a storm in the future. The family members of the core team were given a home by the government, and the core members were then shifted to the remote location where the main base was situated.
The team slowly realized the involvement of the government and the burden placed on them, but all these things made this team more excited as they then came to know the value of the project on which they all were going to work.
They all reached a remote island, and after walking deep inside the forest with the help of other government officials and army soldiers, they saw three big buildings. The first was, of course, like a factory, which they all guessed was the creation platform factory. The next one looked like a huge warehouse which had a huge iron gate in front of it, guarded by several soldiers in their army uniform.
The last building was quite different from the previous ones, as this one was a four-story modern building. Amazed, they all started moving towards it.
