Mr. Sheng descended from upstairs, dressed in a suit and leather shoes, and found the dining room empty. He furrowed his brows and asked, "Where is Chu Chu?"
The Housekeeper immediately responded, "Lady Shan said that the weather is really nice today, and she wanted to have breakfast in the glasshouse in the backyard. So I took both your and Lady Shan's breakfast there."
While adjusting his tie, Mr. Sheng nodded and turned to leave for the backyard, but he heard the Housekeeper call out behind him, "Mr. Sheng."
Mr. Sheng didn't turn around, but he stopped in his tracks.
"Lady Shan seems to be a bit unhappy."
Mr. Sheng, with his back to the Housekeeper, frowned. Chu Chu is unhappy? Why would she be unhappy...
He hastened his pace toward the glasshouse in the backyard.
