The two caregivers heard the cries and quickly ran over. Seeing Gu Lanshan was hurriedly trying to soothe the child, they promptly stepped in to take over Gu Lanshan's task.
"What's wrong? Why are they suddenly crying?"

One of the caregivers, possibly just awakened from sleep and in a bad mood, said in a harsh tone as she picked up Pipi: "Haven't we told you how to change it gently without waking the baby?"
Gu Lanshan was hit in a sensitive spot, blushing and feeling embarrassed, she couldn't manage a reply.
Sheng Shi wasn't awakened by Little Pi Qiu's cries; he awoke up half-conscious to find the spot next to him empty. Instinctively, he went to see Gu Lanshan in the baby room. Just as he reached the doorway, he heard the caregiver's harsh words and paused his steps. Without saying anything, he retreated to his own bedroom.
