Legend has it that The Bodhisattva Guanyin once cultivated here. When she perfected her cultivation, she demonstrated her divine skills by drawing a golden lotus with her hand to form a mountain, allowing believers to worship as a sign of devotion. Thus, from high up, this mountain range resembles a golden lotus, layer upon layer, and in late autumn, when the leaves turn golden, it becomes even more beautiful.
Therefore, this mountain body has been called Golden Lotus Mountain by later generations. Because of its beauty and the discovery of hot springs in its earth veins, there are many manor houses with hot springs nearby.
