"Aww, it's okay, my babies…" she said, carrying them both, taking Meatball in Garan's arms as well. The kids obviously liked their mother more, and if Garan took one, then it'd just be another fight.
It was natural. Not only was she their mother, she was softer, and had the relaxing scent characteristic of wood users.
Harold scratched the back of his neck as he looked at the crying babies. "I'm sorry, they just bumped into each other…"
"It's okay," she said, "They're entering that energetic toddler stage…" she said. "We knew they'd be a handful."
Harold sighed and said his greetings, telling them the events (with Ansel) before heading back to the kitchen. Meanwhile, all three parents including Ansel, struggled to calm the babies.
