He guided them well. Using the trays as extra defense, he also used them to pull a zombie's head and trapped them against the counter, all while he was waving his own weapon around.
He helped his wife make her first kill first. Shivering, she held her knife and hacked the zombie that he had weakened previously.
His heart broke when he saw her sob so much, but she realized he was serious, and that they really might need to do this to survive.
Hack! Slash!
Finally, she managed to kill one, receiving a similar message. However, she was already the 211st survivor by this time and there were no rewards anymore.
Then, after that was the boy's turn, though he almost hacked his hand instead. The zombie apparently had one last burst of energy even after he cut all of its appendages.
Unexpectedly, the dog reacted as quickly as he did and actually got the final shot.
