Of course, people still had to mind the hail but, after so many days, the territory could now announce when it was coming about half-an-hour before it happened.
The hail usually happened an hour or two before dusk, too, which was around the same time as before the disaster.
Unlike many Terran winters, where it happened because the planet was far from the sun, this Cold Wave didn't have anything to do with star alignment. It was just the world making them suffer. Hence, the time of the sun and the time of darkness were about the same.
So, with information on hand, and after getting used to the cold and the disasters, people above level 15 or so would often be found outside to get some fresh air and stretch their muscles. Although they didn't do it every day, they did it every few days
