-------------------------------------------------

Soon the birth ended with a wet, choking cry that didn't sound human at all.

-Whaaaa!!!

Cecellia collapsed back, sobbing—exhausted, shaking, barely conscious.

"...."

Graa!

Debbie caught one look at the thing that had emerged and turned away instantly, gagging as bile rose in her throat.

Gayathri grabbed her shoulders, steadying her, murmuring grounding words under her breath.

Caroline swore under her breath.

"That's—no. Just no."

The infant was wrong in every possible way.

Its body was swollen and heavy, far too dense for something newly born.

Its head was misshapen, wide and slick, resembling a toad more than a child.

Black eyes stared unblinking—until thin red irises slid into place like burning rings.

Its mouth opened, revealing layer upon layer of sharp teeth, packed too tightly, like a predator designed without restraint.

It croaked.

-CROAK!

Low. Hungry.

The umbilical connection twitched violently, tightening, and the creature pulled—hard.

Cecellia gasped as her body was dragged forward, strength far beyond what the infant's size should allow.

-Ahh!!!

"No—!"

Caroline reacted instantly.

In a blur of movement, she severed the connection cleanly, tearing the infant away and pulling Cecellia back.

Gayathri dragged Cecellia further from it, separating the mother and creature.

The thing let out a shrill, furious sound.

-WHaaa!!!

Its bloated belly growled.

-GROWL!

Then its head snapped sideways.

Its gaze locked onto Mother Superior, still suspended helplessly in the air by Inadu's magic—eyes wide, mouth frozen mid-prayer.

The creature didn't crawl. It launched itself.

In a blur of unnatural motion, it struck her chest and clung on, teeth snapping as shadows swallowed them both.

-Kyaa!!!

The screams cut short almost immediately, drowned out by the sound of tearing cloth and frantic movement—then nothing.

Silence.

"...."

"...."

"...."

The air grew cold.

Debbie pressed a shaking hand over her mouth.

Caroline turned away, trying to erase the memory from her head.

Gayathri whispered a curse under her breath, eyes dark with fury.

Cecellia, half-conscious, whispered hoarsely,

-Huff...

"...."

-Huff...

"That… wasn't God…"

From behind them, chains clinked softly.

-CLINK

Ghost Rider stepped forward, fire reflecting in the blood-stained stone as he spoke, voice echoing like a verdict.

"NO, IT WAS NEVER DIVINE."

His gaze fixed on the creature, now crouched amid shadows, feeding instinctively—no reverence, no holiness, only hunger.

Cecellia's breath came in ragged pulls as the truth finally settled into her bones.

"...."

The line she had once read by accident in the prayer hall echoed in her mind now—clearer than any sermon, louder than any hymn:

'Demons sometimes wear the skin of angels to walk the human world.'

Her hands clenched against the stone floor.

"So… that's what you are,"

She whispered, voice shaking—but no longer weak.

Her fear burned away, replaced by something sharper. Resolve.

Only one thought remained.

'Kill it. Kill it before it becomes the end of everything.'

The creature finished feeding.

Ghost Rider did not intervene.

"...."

He watched in silence, flames low but alive, because he felt it—the weight of the sins being consumed.

Mother Superior had not been an innocent shepherd.

She had been a willing architect, complicit in every twisted ritual, every broken soul offered up in blind devotion to a lie.

Judgment had already found her.

The thing straightened.

-CRACK! -CRACK!

-CRACK! -CRACK!

Its body convulsed, bones cracking and reshaping with wet, unnatural sounds.

Flesh stretched and hardened as it grew—rapidly, violently—aging in seconds from infant to towering monstrosity.

When it finally stopped, it stood nearly seven feet tall, its frame bulky and warped, muscles layered wrong beneath slick, dark skin.

Its head remained toad-like, swollen and grotesque, but its jaws widened further, revealing rows of serrated teeth now fully formed.

-Drip.

Thick saliva dripped freely, sizzling faintly where it touched the stone.

Then its tongue slid out—long, heavy, and obscene—dragging along the floor as it tasted the air.

Its black eyes snapped onto Cecellia.

Hunger twisted its features.

It croaked once—low, satisfied—then took a step toward her.

-Crock!

Caroline moved instantly, placing herself between Cecellia and the demon, fangs flashing.

Gayathri raised her hands, energy coiling.

Debbie staggered back, barely steady on her feet.

But before any of them could strike—Ghost Rider stepped forward.

The flames surged higher, reflecting in the demon's eyes.

The air warped around him.

-RAAAAAAA!

"YOU WERE NEVER A MIRACLE,"

He said, voice rolling through the convent like thunder through stone.

The demon hissed, saliva splattering, tongue recoiling slightly—but it didn't retreat.

"...."

"YOU WERE A PARASITE, A LIE WRAPPED IN FAITH. AND YOU WERE BORN IN SIN."

Ghost Rider continued as he tilted his skull, fire burning brighter in the hollow sockets.

The creature lunged. Ghost Rider didn't flinch.

-FWOOSH!

Chains erupted from his hands in a flash of hellfire, snapping forward like living serpents, wrapping around the demon's torso mid-leap and slamming it into the stone floor hard enough to fracture it.

-BAM!

-CRAAA-AAAK!!!

The convent shook.

-Graaaa!!!

The demon screamed—high and furious now—thrashing against the chains as its tongue lashed wildly, scraping sparks from the floor.

Ghost Rider planted a boot against its chest, flames flaring.

-THUD.

"THIS WORLD IS NOT YOURS."

He leaned down, fire roaring brighter.

The demon froze. Its black eyes widened, pupils shrinking as memory slammed back into it.

"...."

The fire. The chains. The screaming followers. The altar—its altar—reduced to molten stone.

Its bloated lips trembled as it slowly lifted one clawed hand and pointed at Ghost Rider.

"You—!"

-CROCK!

It croaked, voice cracking, recognition flooding in.

"YOU… YOU ARE THE FLAME—THE ONE WHO—"

Its tongue lashed nervously as panic crept in for the first time.

"YOU DESTROYED MY IMAGE,"

It hissed, rage and fear mixing.

"MY TEMPLE. MY BELIEVERS. THEY FED ME—CHILDREN—BLOOD—FAITH—ALL TAKEN FROM ME!"

Ghost Rider snorted. A dry, mocking sound that echoed through the ruined convent.

-SNORT

"IMPRECISE, BUT I'LL GIVE YOU CREDIT."

He said, tilting his skull slightly. The flames in his eyes flared brighter.

"YOU'RE SLOW, BUT NOT STUPID."

He leaned closer, chains tightening, the metal glowing red-hot against the demon's flesh.

Smoke poured from its body as it screamed again.

-Ahhh!!!

"YES,"

Ghost Rider continued, voice dripping with cruel amusement.

"I'M THE ONE WHO TURNED YOUR STATUE INTO SLAG. THE ONE WHO TURNED YOUR SLAVES INTO ASH. THE ONE WHO MADE YOUR WORSHIPPERS BEG FOR MERCY THEY NEVER DESERVED."

The demon thrashed harder, realization fully setting in now as it screeched.

-BAM!

"This—this was not meant to happen! THIS WORLD WAS PROMISED TO ME! THE BLIND KING—"

Ghost Rider's chains snapped tighter.

The floor cratered beneath the demon's spine.

"DO NOT SPEAK HIS TITLE LIKE IT PROTECTS YOU,"

Ghost Rider growled.

-GRAAAA!!!

"HE DOESN'T ANSWER SCREAMS. EVEN IF HE WANT'S TO HELP YOU... I AM EAGER TO WELCOME HIM WITH BOTH HANDS WIDE OPEN."

The demon's confidence shattered completely.

"...."

Its tongue recoiled, its limbs trembling as he snarled weakly.

"You… you can't kill me, I AM BORN OF FAITH. OF SACRIFICE—"

Ghost Rider laughed. Loud. Sharp. Merciless as he spoke.

-GAGAGAGAGAGA!!!

"FAITH DOESN'T SAVE MONSTERS, AND SACRIFICE DOESN'T MAKE YOU A GOD."

He straightened, flames roaring skyward, chains lifting the demon off the ground.

"IT JUST MAKES YOU MY PROBLEM."

Behind him, Cecellia watched—no longer afraid, but with curiosity about the flaming scary monster before her.

The demon screeched, and with a wet, tearing sound—

-GRAAAAA!

Its spine split open.

From between cracked vertebrae, a pair of crooked white wings burst forth, feathers malformed, bones jagged, stitched together by dark sinew and stolen divinity.

They unfurled violently, ripping blood and black ichor into the air.

With a thunderous WHOOM, the demon launched itself skyward.

-WHOOM!

The air exploded outward in shockwaves as it flapped—once, twice—each beat strong enough to crack stone and send debris flying across the courtyard.

"...."

For a split second, it thought it had won.

Then—A skeletal hand clamped around its ankle.

Hard. Unmoving.

Ghost Rider stood below, boots dug into the stone floor, hellfire spiraling around his legs like living chains.

-CRACK!

The ground beneath him fractured in a spiderweb pattern, yet he did not budge an inch.

The demon shrieked in disbelief.

"...."

It flapped harder. Again. Again.

-FLAP. -FLAP.

-FLAP. -FLAP.

The air warped from the force—visible ripples tearing through space as it strained with everything it had.

Still—Ghost Rider didn't lift.

He didn't slide. He didn't even lean.

The demon panicked. With a guttural snarl, it whipped its long toad-like tongue, venom dripping from its tip, and spat a glob of black-green poison straight at Ghost Rider's skull.

The venom never reached him.

-HISSS-ISSS!!!

It evaporated mid-air, hissing into nothingness the moment it touched the heat of hellfire.

The tongue lashed forward again—Ghost Rider caught it. Wrapped it once around his wrist.

"...."

And yanked.

-Ahhhh!!!

The demon screamed—a high, broken sound—as its body was ripped downward, wings snapping uselessly as gravity reclaimed it.

-TWIG!

Its massive form slammed into the ground with a bone-shattering impact, stone exploding outward in a crater.

Ghost Rider stepped forward, still holding the tongue, flames reflecting off the demon's terrified eyes as he spoke calmly

"YOU FLEW, WRONG CHOICE."

With a brutal twist, he reeled the demon in like a chain-bound animal, dragging it across the shattered floor as it screamed and clawed uselessly.

The wings twitched.

-TWITCH. -TWITCH.

"...."

The demon sucked in a ragged breath and slowly pushed itself up, cracked bones grinding back into place. Black ichor dripped from its mouth as it stared at the flaming skull before it.

Its voice trembled—half defiance, half fear as it croaked.

-CROAK

"Why…? Why are you not killing me? Is there a reason?"

For a heartbeat, Ghost Rider was still.

Then the chain moved.

-SNAP.

With a violent SNAP, the hellforged links whipped around the demon's neck and yanked it forward, slamming its face inches from the blazing skull. The heat alone blistered its skin.

Its panic was instant—raw, undeniable.

"...."

Ghost Rider's flames flared brighter as he growled.

-GRRR!

"YOU DON'T GET MERCY, YOU GET ANSWERS."

The chain tightened. The demon's claws scraped uselessly at the links.

"HOW ARE YOU CONNECTED TO THE BLIND KING?"

The toad-faced demon choked, eyes bulging, tongue trembling. Slowly—desperately—it stopped resisting as it gasped.

"...."

"H–He… I only had a contract. Nothing more."

Ghost Rider leaned closer.

The demon could see itself reflected in hellfire—every lie burned away.

"THE TRUTH,"

Ghost Rider warned.

The demon swallowed as it spoke shakily.

-Gulp

"When the Blind King was still… human, he sought power. Knowledge beyond death. I was one of the first he bargained with."

Its voice cracked.

-CRACK!

He helped me find servants—broken souls, desperate men, believers hungry for meaning. In return… I gave him a portion of my power. A fragment. Just enough to survive. To grow."

Ghost Rider's grip did not loosen.

"YOU FED HIM POWER."

The demon nodded weakly.

"Yes… but he was never my equal. Never his priest. Just a tool. But all changed now."

Ghost Rider tilted his skull slightly—an almost curious motion.

"AND NOW?"

The demon's eyes darted instinctively toward the darkness, as if something unseen were listening as he whispered.

"Now… he is no longer bound by flesh, And tools that outlived its master."

The hellfire surged.

Ghost Rider pulled the chain tighter, lifting the demon off its feet.

Getting his answer, Ghost Rider did not hesitate.

He reared back and unleashed hell itself.

A torrent of fire erupted from his skull like a living flamethrower, swallowing the toad-faced demon whole.

The flames were not ordinary—they peeled existence apart, skin sloughing away first, then muscle, then bone, as if judgment itself were stripping the lie from reality.

The demon screamed. It begged.

-Ahhhh!!!

"I CAN GIVE YOU POWER—IMMORTALITY—SERVANTS—"

The promise never finished.

The fire burned through the lie, through the fear, through the last fragment of its power.

The demon's form collapsed inward, screaming dissolving into a hiss, then silence—until nothing remained but a drifting cloud of ash that scattered across the convent floor.

"...."

"...."

"...."

Ghost Rider stood amid the dying embers, flames rolling off his shoulders like a living storm. Slowly, his burning gaze shifted.

It landed on the stone pillar near the chapel wall.

Behind it, Cardinal Franco Merola trembled, breath shallow, robes soaked with sweat.

"...."

He had pressed himself flat against the stone, praying desperately—hoping the monsters would not notice the smallest, weakest sinner in the room.

Hope was a lie.

Without even turning his head fully, Ghost Rider lifted one burning hand.

The chain moved.

A flaming link shot sideways, wrapping around the cardinal's neck with a metallic CLANG and slamming him hard against the pillar.

His feet left the ground as the chain tightened, heat searing through flesh and faith alike.

Franco clawed at the links, choking, eyes wide with terror.

Ghost Rider finally faced him as he spoke calmly.

"YOU HID, YOU WATCHED. YOU ENABLED."

The chain constricted further.

"YOU CALLED IT A MIRACLE."

The stone pillar behind Franco cracked, heat spider-webbing through marble and mortar.

His screams lasted only seconds—cut short as fire raced across his body, consuming cloth, skin, bone, and sin in one relentless wave.

The pillar was left blackened.

The cardinal was not.

Only ash drifted down, settling quietly at Ghost Rider's feet.

Silence reclaimed the convent.

"...."

"...."

"...."

The flames around Ghost Rider slowly steadied—not fading, not raging—simply waiting, as judgment always does.

Meanwhile...

The last of the nuns went limp as the life forced in them were drained.

Inadu lowered her hand, dark veins receding from her eyes as the stolen life force settled into the earth like a debt finally paid.

Bodies hit the stone floor one by one—dull, final thuds echoing through the ruined convent.

Then the fire sighed.

-WHOOSH!

With a soft whoosh, hellfire folded inward, black smoke curling around bone and flame until the skull was gone—leaving Jojo standing there once more.

Human. Breathing. His eyes no longer burning, but still impossibly heavy with judgment.

He turned to Inadu as he spoke calmly.

"Erase their memories, A fire. Panic. Nothing more."

Inadu nodded and raised her hand—

-Nod

"Wait."

Cecellia's voice cut through the silence.

Everyone turned.

"...."

"...."

"...."

She stood unsteadily, one hand braced against the wall, the other resting over her chest.

Her face was pale, eyes wide—not with fear anymore, but with something deeper.

Confusion. Awe. A desperate need to understand.

She swallowed as she asked Jojo while her voice trembled.

-Gulp

"Who… who are you? Are you human? Or a devil?"

She hesitated, then whispered the last word like it might burn her tongue.

"...."

"…or an angel?"

(Author's POV)

(A/N):

Guys it was the new cover image I planned to add to this story what you guys think about it.

As for giving power to others. I came up with a idea contract. While someone can gain ability after being exposed to angle fire like Jenny. But this will make him to be able to give a specific power he needed them to have.
