Gu Chengfeng darted straight for the Prince's carriage. The coachman's face changed color, and he hurriedly reached for the sword at his waist. But before he could draw it, Gu Chengfeng's flying dart pierced his throat!

Gu Chengfeng was surprised himself: "Wow, the hidden weapon Mistress Nan gave me is really effective!"

The coachman fell from the carriage, landing with a thud.

The horse was startled, rearing its front hooves and bolting around wildly. The Prince was jostled, banging against the side of the carriage.

He grabbed onto the carriage wall to steady himself, rubbed his aching forehead, and asked coldly, "What happened?"

Gu Chengfeng sat in the coachman's seat, held the reins tightly, and calmed the horse down, saying with a faint smile, "Nothing, Your Highness, stay seated and steady."

Something was off about this voice.
