After they speculated what are the Ice Dwellers and shared whatever rumors they heard, they began sharing what they found in the woods.
"We went to the East side and found a small village." It was Edward who spoke.
"Really?"
"A village?"
"Was there someone…?" The hopeful question was met with a disappointed shaking of Edward's head.
"No, there are only dead people in the village. And they have been frozen stiff. Just like Cole's state."
Everyone looked down and can't help but feel their spine shudder at the sight. Cole's body was dead. And he is covered in transparent ice.
His eyes were wide open and his hand were outstretched. Bryan and that another boy who offered help stepped back in fear. They can still remember the tingling sensation of that chilling frost biting and feeding on their skin.
They can feel it's alive. Because of how it crawled and spread in a speed visible to the naked eye.
