Chapter 271 - Possibly the Most Powerful Mage in the Multiverse

The Celestial Order and the Observers held opposing views. The Observers believed in non-interference with other species, while the Celestial Order saw themselves as guardians of universal balance. They had fought a billion-year war with no clear victor, reflecting their complex relationship. Yet, no one could deny the strength of the Celestial Order.

Now, there was talk of a mage defeating the Celestial Order. Naturally, the Observers were skeptical.

Bodiko shook his head. "Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. This mage is incredibly powerful, and even I can't fully grasp the extent of his strength. But I saw something terrifying."

"Terrifying? What did you see?" The other Observers, intrigued, pressed for details.

"I saw him cast a spell that even made the Goddess of Death wary before she quickly fled. Do you think someone who can do that isn't terrifying?" Bodiko exclaimed.

The other Observers exchanged glances, even the stern one looking incredulous. "How is that possible? There can't be such a powerful mage."

"When did our universe gain such a formidable entity?"

Though they didn't wholly disbelieve Bodiko, it was hard to fathom. Such an occurrence seemed too extraordinary.

"Follow the coordinates I left and see for yourselves," Bodiko said before disappearing. A set of coordinates appeared before the Observers.

Curious, they decided to investigate. Entering the universe where Wang Yang was, they followed the coordinates. Upon arrival, they found a barrier blocking their path. They wondered if there was such a powerful mage.

Crossing the barrier, they were greeted with a shocking sight. Outside, countless stars and planets filled the space. Inside, only debris remained, as if the universe had been devastated.

"Has this universe been destroyed?" one Observer asked.

Bodiko soon rejoined them. "Come, that's the mage I told you about." Leading them closer, the Observers saw the battle unfolding.

"That figure fighting the mage looks familiar," one Observer remarked.

"That's the leader of the Celestial Order, their most powerful and mysterious member. But I didn't expect him to be so formidable," another noted. Seeing the other Celestial Order members watching in awe, they realized the mage must be robust.

"Even if he can fight the Celestial Order, he can't be as strong as a god, right?" Despite acknowledging the mage's strength, they still doubted he could rival a god.

"Your perspective is too narrow," Bodiko insisted. "I'm sure his power exceeds your imagination. Look at the magic he's wielding. I suspect only a god's power can compare."

The stern Observer shook his head. "Bodiko, you're too young to understand what true divine power is. This mage is strong, but comparing him to a god is premature."

Suddenly, one Observer pointed out, "The mage is about to attack!"

Indeed, Wang Yang stepped forward, hurling a sphere of terrifying lightning—Chaotic Thunder Spirit—a blinding white light spread, engulfing the universe. Anything within the energy wave's reach was obliterated.

The Observers watched in awe. Though hidden in a spatial rift with advanced technology protecting them, they felt the destructive force penetrating their sanctuary.

"No way!" The rift itself seemed to buckle under the power.

Bodiko and the others felt sweat on their brows, realizing their hiding place might collapse. The energy wave melted and destroyed everything it touched, shaking the very fabric of reality.

"What do we do?" Bodiko asked, panic evident.

"Run!" The stern Observer quickly opened a new rift. But even this portal wavered under the immense power.

They jumped through the rift without hesitation, narrowly escaping the devastating force. The hidden realm they left behind was shattered, showing the extent of the mage's power.

When the chaos subsided, they returned cautiously. The destruction left them speechless. "How could a mage wield such terrifying power? It's like a planet exploded. And this was just the aftermath. Imagine the center!" They marveled at the devastation, struggling to comprehend the magic's strength.

"Even the laws of space have been annihilated. It will take eons to restore," one Observer noted solemnly.

"The structure here is utterly ruined," another added, astonished. They had never seen anything like it, not even from the gods.

As they recorded their findings, their faces showed fear and disbelief. Finally, they turned to Bodiko.

"Perhaps you were right, Bodiko. We underestimated this mage."

"He's truly terrifying and incredibly powerful. He might be one of the strongest mages in the multiverse."

"I never want to experience that magic again," the stern Observer admitted, shaken by the encounter.

The Observers, among the most advanced beings in the multiverse, realized how insignificant their power seemed in comparison.

Bodiko smiled, feeling vindicated. "I told you, this mage is extraordinarily powerful. He has the strength of a god."

The stern Observer sighed. "If we hadn't seen it ourselves, we'd never believe it. A mage stronger than the very laws of reality is unimaginable."

"Indeed, it's hard to fathom such power coming from a relatively primitive planet," another agreed. "He might become the strongest mage in this universe, perhaps even the entire multiverse."

"For a mage to battle the Celestial Order and win is unprecedented. The Celestial Order is in serious trouble now."

Though the Observers had their issues with the Celestial Order, seeing them bested by a mage left them deeply reflective.
