Serena, a witch, becomes Ryu's mentor and guide in this fantastical world. With her vast understanding of the world's history and its current state, she is willing to help Ryu fulfill his destiny and prevent the coming reign of the demon king.
"I will teach you magic as long as you will help me to exterminate all the demons in this world"
"hm...fine I accept the offer, if all the devils are destroyed I can certainly live peacefully in this world"
while continuing the journey Serena taught Ryu magic, and amazingly Ryu quickly learned magic magic taught by Serena.
After several days of traveling together, Serena and Ryu arrive at the outskirts of the city which has managed to withstand the relentless attacks of demons and monsters. The city named Avalora is famous for its formidable defense and skilled adventurers who fight tirelessly to protect this city.
"wow, this city is quite crowded, for a city that is being hit by the chaos caused by this monster, it's impressive."
"well, this city has enough adventurers who are tough enough to withstand attacks from low to medium demons."
"serena are you from this town..?" looking at serena.
"I'm not from here I'm from a city that's been destroyed by those damn demons."
"oohh... so that's why you're on an adventure to exterminate demons"
"Yeah."
However, the Adventurers were exhausted from the demons' onslaught with almost no respite, their hopes slowly diminishing as they struggled to maintain their means to stay alive amidst the chaos the demons had caused. survive like this city therefore they have to give in to that damn demon king. but if just the two of them won't be enough to defeat the demon king they have to find additional people to fight the demon king.
"hmm...serena are the two of us alone enough to defeat the demon king?"
"no...we won't be able to, actually I came to this city to invite someone who is said to have great sword skills."
"Okay, is that person really great? Do you know him?."
"No, I don't know him, I only heard rumors that this city can survive because of him."
"OK, where should we start looking for him?."
"there is no need to rush, we are waiting for the next devil's attack, surely he will not remain silent if this city is attacked again."
"wow nice idea."
Ryu and Serena entered the city for a while they will look for lodging in the city of Avalora while finding out about the rumored swordsman.
"okay for a while we will stay in this city, we have to find lodging first."
"oii Serena I don't have the money to rent an inn."
"Calm down I have some money to rent two rooms."
"where do you get money from, aren't there many cities that have been hit by destruction."
"Well I entered the ruins of the ruined manor houses and found some money."
"I think you stole haha."
serena turned to Ryu and gave an irritated look.
"haha sorry Serena, don't put on a scary face like that, I'm just kidding."
"just looking at you pisses me off."
As the days turn to weeks, an attack on the city ensues, Serena and Ryu help the adventurers in the city to defeat the demons that come to attack.
"It seems the demons are starting to attack us. We have to help defeat the demons, Serena."
"okay."
"prison flaree." Serena waved at the devil.
when Serena said that word, immediately several demons were trapped in a ball circle that contained fire inside and when the ball circle faded, the devils who were trapped also perished.
On the other hand, Ryu is fighting some demons but he sees a small child being chased by a demon.
"damn I have to help that kid but I'm still dealing with a demon I have to quickly defeat this demon in front of me"
"die you devil... firee slashh" Ryu slashed fire magic using his knife at the demon in front of him, the demon was immediately split and destroyed.
"Where's that little kid I have to hurry before he's killed by the devil" Ryu ran looking for the child.
when Ryu managed to find the child he tried as fast as possible to help him but he was constantly confronted by several demons, when the child was almost killed someone appeared who saved the child Ryu was relieved.Ryu approached the person
"huft... thanks for saving the kid"
"Well, it's my job to protect people who are in trouble"
Serena approached them both.
"Looks like you're the rumored swordsman huh" Serena asked the person.
"hmm" the swordsman looked at Serena in confusion.
"I want to talk a lot with you but we have to finish off these damn demons first"
after a while they finally managed to defeat the demons that attacked the city and they started talking to each other while introducing themselves respectively.
"My name is Serena and he is Ryu. We are on a journey to exterminate demons"
"Well, like Serena said, my name is Ryu, actually I just followed Serena because she once saved me from the devil"
"my name is fiel I'm an adventurer whose job is to protect this city from demons"
"actually I want you to help us to defeat the demon lord because we both still feel inadequate to defeat the demon lord therefore we want to invite you to defeat the demon lord"
"hmm demon lord huh..but it seems my strength is not enough to defeat the demon lord"
"well I expected that you would hesitate to accept but please think carefully if we can defeat the demon lord we can be freed from the shackles of this chaos" Serena tries to talk Fiel into helping them.
"ok I will help you guys I'm fed up with all this mess" fiel is finally willing to help Ryu and Serena to defeat the Demon Lord.
and the next day they started the journey to go to the demon lord's palace to beat him.
