The hospital room went silent in an instant, and the three men stopped breathing. They all looked at the little woman on the bed who squinted her eyes and said in a coquettish tone, "Don't disturb my sleep!"
Xaviera slowly woke up, unaccustomed to the bright sunlight after such a long darkness. Caleb immediately got up, swiftly pulled the curtains closed, then turned back to her bedside and held her hand, "Xaviera!"
Eric paused for a few seconds then pulled Jeffrey, "Caleb, we'll leave first. Take care of Xaviera."
Xaviera had just woken up, and the couple would definitely want to pour their hearts out to each other. The two of them should understand the situation and leave, but Jeffrey stood still in his place.
