I know that I planned to meet with Starfire and somehow find an excuse to chat with her using insider knowledge to seduce her as she gullible and it would be easy. I always intended to contact her through Raven it was the reason I never forbade her from bring her to one of our weekly sessions the problem was that it wasn't just Starfire. Along with her there were two blonde Kryptonians and a young Martian girl it was immediately clear what was going on. The Martian was here to spy on Komand'r's mind seeing if any of this was real. What surprised is that I made no effort to hide what I done yet when she freed Komand'r instead of trying to rip me half which would have been her normal reaction...
Komand'r: Hey she undid that thing can you put it back?
Ms Martian: Are you serious!? You know that he brainwashed you!?
Komand'r: Not really, I was aware of what happened and he never tried to hide it from me and honestly I've never felt that way for another ever not even my family have I felt any level of affection. So when I finally got to feel this you're trying to take it away? So to answer any future questions yes I knew, no I don't want your "help", and finally stay the fuck out of my mind I rather be by his side than have my rightful throne.
The looks of absolute shock across their faces was priceless although Starfire seemed to be the only one absolutely excited for her sister finding love. She even seemed to disregard the fact that her sister was manipulated to feel that way. What was worrying was how easily she accepted that her sister a well-known super criminal was choosing this mere moments after being set free when she sold her own sister into slavery for the throne. The same throne that she boldly stated wasn't as important as her current relationship with me.
Komand'r's reaction wasn't really shocking to me though. Unlike someone raised in a box with zero exposure to the world outside she wasn't completely startled and would reject reality because it wasn't what they understood, she grew up in the wider universe with exposure to all things. The problem was that while she was exposed to these things internally she had trouble accepting, feeling and reciprocating.
The biggest factor was that while she knew what love was intellectually she never truly felt it so being forced feel was like being given crack with zero drugs tolerance. She would do anything to continue to feel this which is why it was obvious that I would do everything to never feel it. My understanding was clinical at best I've seen what it can do to someone such a drug was something I would avoid like my life depended upon it but I wasn't above using it against my victims.
I've watched people willingly endanger themselves in the name of love in the name of love in my previous life. I mean I once fucked up and caught during one of my usual long-term scams and having a young heiress support me. It wasn't her that figured it out but a childhood friend that was apparently in love with her so I was forced to flee but I couldn't without leaving her money because he had connections with the authorities so I made him choose me and the money or save her inside a burning mansion he didn't even hesitate to choose the wrong answer.
The fool ran inside to save her what he didn't realize was she wasn't even inside the mansion but duct taped to a chair behind it just out of sight where she could watch it burn. I heard that she heard her calling for her inside the flames and saw him just before it collapsed on him. She was left... wait I wouldn't have cared about what happened to them. Before I could think deeply about that power girl got my attention back.
Power Girl: Hey! Are you even listening to anything we said?
"No because it was probably something stupid about ethics and morality"
Komand'r: It was if I knew what it was I would have done the same thing sooner but every time I tried they would forced me to pay attention
Ms Martian: Do you even care that he essentially high jacked your free will!
Komand'r: Now who isn't listening I said before that I didn't care and because of you he hasn't bothered to replace it yet and now he might not ever!
"Calm down I haven't reset it because they would just have someone remove it under some senseless ideals unless convinced otherwise and that constant of having removed and replaced might literally drive you insane so we're waiting until they accept so you don't get accidentally broken by someone who thinks they know best"
